The Great Wilderness of the South

The Great Wilderness South Sutra Is divided into a mountain, a country of ganshui, a country of Jiyu, a country of feathers, and a country with eggs
There are mountains, and the sweet waters are poor. There is the kingdom of Ji Yu, the son of The Emperor, and the Eater. A country where there are feathered people, and its people are born with feathers. In a country with eggs, its people give birth to eggs.

What is the "country of mountains, sweet water, jiyu, feather people, and egg-bearing"?

The geographical scope of the "Great Wilderness South Classic" I have cracked and located in the southern part of the African continent, see my article "Cracking and Locating the Classic of Mountains and Seas No. 5".

1. Mountains, sweet water

According to the principle of "naming by shape" in the "Classic of Mountains and Seas" that I cracked, "Chengshan" is named after the shape of the "Cheng" character jinwen pictogram.

The Great Wilderness South Sutra Is divided into a mountain, a country of ganshui, a country of Jiyu, a country of feathers, and a country with eggs

In addition to the appearance of the "Cheng" character jinwen, this "Chengshan" is also the source of "Ganshui".

The golden text of the word "Gan" is as follows:

The Great Wilderness South Sutra Is divided into a mountain, a country of ganshui, a country of Jiyu, a country of feathers, and a country with eggs

According to the "Cheng" character gold text pattern, combined with the geographical scope of southern Africa where the "Great Wild Southern Classic" is located, and the geographical location of the source of "Ganshui", this "Chengshan" and "Ganshui" were finally found in Botswana, southern Africa.

Originally, "Chengshan" was a mountainous area shaped like the golden pattern of the word "Cheng", which was located in Botswana. "Ganshui" refers to a water system with a terrain such as the shape of the word "Gan". "Sweet water" refers to the fact that it is located in the southern desert of Botswana, the climate is very dry, and the water flows here dry up.

Botswana is located in the southern interior of Africa. The country is located in the Karahadi Basin in the middle of the South African highlands, with an average elevation of about 1000 meters. It is bordered by Zimbabwe to the east, Namibia to the west, Zambia to the north and South Africa to the south. Most of the region has a tropical arid grassland climate, and the western part is desert, which belongs to the tropical desert climate. The average annual temperature is 21 °C. With an average annual precipitation of 400 mm, it is the country with the highest mortality rate in the world.

The topography of Botswana is roughly flat, with undulating plateaus, generally 800-1100 meters above sea level. The central and southwestern parts of the country belong to the Kalahari Desert, covering nearly 70% of Botswana. The Okavango Swamp, located to the northwest, is the largest inland delta in the world. Multi-grassland and salt marsh, Makgadikgadi Pan is a vast area in the north of Botswana. The southeast is hilly.

2. The Land of Jiyu

"There is the kingdom of JiYu, the son of The Emperor, and the eater."

Before I cracked the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", all the characters recorded in the "Classic of Mountains and Seas" are well-known people in the history of ancient China. The same is true of this "Ji Yu".

Historically, "Huan Huan" had three famous sons, "Poor Cicada, Old Boy (Drama Instrument), and Huan (Son of White Horse)." ”

Author's Note: "The White Horse is the Father of the Dragon" See my article "LuoMing and White Horse of the Classic of Mountains and Seas".

Because the Classic of Mountains and Seas has recorded that the two sons of Shu Shi were divided into "Shu Shi" and "Shu Shu".

The one I have cracked the seal on the "Lady" is the son of the poor cicada, the poor cicada, which is Horus.

Sealed in the "Shu Shu" is the illegitimate son Lao Tong (drama instrument) who was merged with his sister, lao tong (drama instrument), that is, Anubis.

So is it the "Kingdom of Jiyu" sealed around "Chengshan"?

"鯀", I have cracked for the Pharaoh Huni of the Third Dynasty of Ancient Egypt.

The Great Wilderness South Sutra Is divided into a mountain, a country of ganshui, a country of Jiyu, a country of feathers, and a country with eggs

Ancient Egyptian king name of the carp:

The Great Wilderness South Sutra Is divided into a mountain, a country of ganshui, a country of Jiyu, a country of feathers, and a country with eggs

After comparing the king name of "鯀" with "Ji Yu", the following illustration is obtained:

The Great Wilderness South Sutra Is divided into a mountain, a country of ganshui, a country of Jiyu, a country of feathers, and a country with eggs

It can be seen that there is a clear one-to-one correspondence between the word "Jiyu" and the ancient Egyptian king name of "鯀". Combined with the description that the poor cicada was sealed in the "Lady" and the old boy was sealed in the "Shu Shu", this "Ji Yu" can be determined to refer to the "鯀".

In addition, the Classic of Mountains and Seas also records that "a man with three sides and one arm is also the son of a man of the sword".

The Great Wilderness of the West:

There are people with three faces, who are the sons of the mole, who have three sides and one arm, and whose three faces do not die. It is called the Wilderness of the Great Wilderness.

This "three-faced, one-armed man" I have cracked is the "Bush" of the black tribe of Botswana in Africa. What is shocking is that although this people is in Africa, its appearance is no different from that of Chinese, and the most surprising thing is that its appearance is very similar to that of Huan, Huan and Yu.

Bushmen

Ethnic groups in southern Africa. Also known as the Sang people. It is found in Namibia, Botswana, Angola, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Tanzania. It is generally considered to belong to the Nigro race, but the Bushmen are closer to the Mongol race in various respects. It is the oldest indigenous people in Southern and East Africa. The spoken Bushmen languages belong to the Bushmen branch of the Central Khoisan language family, with no writing. Social development has been greatly hindered, and has been living a hunting and gathering life, mostly still in different stages of primitive society. There is much faith in animism, tribal totem. Live in groups by blood, and continue the spectrum by two lines.

Relatives are mostly referred to as Hawaiian (see Maori). Store water with ostrich eggshells. He specializes in rock murals, using various mineral pigments, lime, oil smoke and water and animal oil to blend and color, which will not fade for thousands of years. Realistic depictions of hunting and war scenes come to life. The most ancient is monochromatic (red or brown), and in modern times it is multi-colored. The conditions of the Bushmen vary from branch to branch because of their different conditions. The two branches of East and South Africa are being attracted to modern life. Some groups in South-West Africa are still in the hunting stage: some work on white colonists' farms, and some work as shepherds for the Bantu ethnic groups (mainly Tswana).

history

The Bushmen were a primitive hunter-gatherer people living in southern Africa. Before the Arrival of Western colonialists in southern Africa, there were at least 200,000 Bushmen, and today only 55,000 remain. More than half of them now live in Botswana, while the rest live in South Africa, Namibia and Angola.

Until more than 20 years ago, the Bushmen were still in a prehistoric period, and almost no one knew about it. They lived in the most barren and barren desert areas, hunting and gathering the roots, stems and wild fruits of plants, as in the Paleolithic Age. In order to obtain the water and food needed for survival, the Bushmen often lived in groups in the summer, and in the winter, when the water and food could not meet the needs, they began to migrate in different directions as a family unit, looking around for food and water. But some Bushmen were forced to concentrate around the only source of water during the driest winter season.

In the Bushmen tribe, men were responsible for hunting, often in groups of two, two to three times a week, and the captured animals were shared among relatives and friends. Women are responsible for gathering, usually in groups of four to five to collect the roots, stems and fruits of all edible plants. Bushmen women have a certain status in the collective and in the family, are valued and have the right to decide. This may be because their gathering often provides 60-80% of the food of the Bushmen per year, while the men can only provide 20-40% of the year's food during the hunting season.

After the 1970s, the wind of civilization blew into the Bushmen tribes, and thousands of years of tradition were rapidly destroyed. Today, much of the Bushmen tradition is in the past, perhaps in some small tribes that have long been forgotten and in the heart of the desert, but how long will they last?

What is puzzling, however, is the type of human race to which the Bushmen belong from an anthropological point of view remains an unsolved mystery to this day. The Bushmen are short in stature, with the tallest woman only about 1.38 meters, while the man is no more than 1.60 meters tall. The Bushmen had yellow, reddish skin, Mongol eyes, high cheekbones, and thick, curly, granular hair. The term "Bushmen" actually originated from the Dutch colonists of that year, meaning people in the bushes. As for their ancestors, no one knows.

In recent years, some ethnologists have suggested, based on archaeological findings, that the primitive people who made stone tools living in South Africa in the middle and late Paleolithic period may be the ancestors of the Bushmen. They go on to infer that the ancestors of the Bushmen once occupied most of the Kalahari and were driven to barren and barren desert areas only after the invasion of their relatively advanced and iron-wielding Bantu ancestors. Of course, this is only a hypothesis at present, and it has yet to be further confirmed by various studies.

Customs

For a long century, they lived in southern Africa, almost naked, with 20-60 people per colony. They can live in the desert only by hunting and gathering.

In the early morning or dusk, the men go out and hunt the big antelope and small prey with poisonous arrows. Women dig edible plant roots, collect water-rich wild watermelons, build houses out of branches, and make necklaces out of ostrich eggshells.

Today, only 60,000 Bushmen remain, spread between Botswana and Namibia. Many have abandoned their primitive way of life and become farm workers.

The culture of the Bushmen is disappearing due to the onslaught of modern civilization, especially the language they express with the crackling sound of their tongues popping out.

branch

Ethnic groups in Southern Africa. The Hotundu people called them Sang people. The name "Bushmen" was first used in the mid-17th century, meaning "jungle man", and was taken after Dutch immigrants established the Cape Colony.

Bushmen

According to linguistic kinship, the Bushmen are divided into three groups: the south branch, which is indigenous to the southern and western coasts of south Africa's Cape region, is now extinct; the middle branch now lives in the desert swamp area along the Okavango River Delta in Botswana; and the northern branch now lives in northern Namibia and southern Angola. According to 1978 estimates, there were more than 110,000 Bushmen, of whom 30,000 were Namibian, 30,000 were Botswana, 8,000 were Angolans, 1,000 were Zimbabweans and 1,000 were South Africa;

The Bushmen belong to the Nigro race, the Koisan type, and are ancient inhabitants of eastern and southern Africa. Its physical characteristics are: short stature, the average height of adult men is 1.52 meters; the skin has wrinkled since childhood; the skin color is brown and yellow, the face is flat, the eyelids have long canthal folds; the lips are thick, the nose is wide and flattened; the hair is black and thin, often rolled into pepper grains. It is spoken in Bushmen and belongs to the Bushmen language family of the Koisan language family. There are many dialects, and the voice has an inhalation sound formed by the tongue. There is a spelling text based on the Latin alphabet, and the inhalation sound is marked with special symbols.

Original production

The Territory of the Bushmen is a meadow of more than 80,000 square kilometers and sparse grassland forests, surrounded by desert. In addition to growing a small number of crops,

Bushmen

They mainly make a living by gathering fruits and hunting. Because many wild animals are protected, most of the animals they can hunt are hares, antelopes, bison and so on. Sometimes, they also raise antelopes and bison that fall into traps.

Bushmen are short in stature, some women are only about 1.38 meters, while men are no more than 1.60 meters tall. But Bushman men are known for their adept at tracking prey, and once they spot animal tracks, they will persevere in tracking them, no matter how complex the terrain is and how harsh the environment is. In their long-term hunting practice, they have cultivated a pair of fire eyes, and they can even distinguish the footprints of injured animals and healthy animals. During the hunt, 2 to 6 people form a hunting group, and it is often necessary to leave the camp for two or three days when tracking the prey.[1]

When hunting large animals, they can be flexibly split with poisonous bows and arrows, arrows and shafts. When the bow and arrow hit the prey, the impact force will cause the arrow shaft to fall off the arrow, but the arrow is still firmly embedded in the animal's body, and the poison on the arrow will slowly penetrate into the animal's blood. Over time, poisons work in animals. The poison that smears the arrows is made from highly venomous plants, snake venom and poisonous beetles. This poisonous arrow can be used both for hunting and defending against invasion. In addition to hunting mammals, they hunt turtles, snakes, and collect bird eggs, termite eggs and ants to feed them.

The Bushmen had no private property and all fruits of their labor were shared by tribal members. After the prey is caught, the men involved in the hunt have the right to distribute the roast meat to other members of the tribe and visiting guests. When one family has hit the prey, members of other families will flock to ask for a piece of the pie. The Bushmen were also happy to share their delicacies with others, because others would also share them with themselves after they had hit their prey.

When men go out hunting, women are responsible for finding a variety of edible foods, such as mushrooms, bulbs of plants, berries, and various melons and fruits as daily food for the family. 80% of the food composition of the Bushmen is plant foods. Plant foods are a more stable food source than meat. The women responsible for collecting plant food have a wealth of plant knowledge and know what plants are edible and what are poisonous. The Bushmen never did an exhaustive and fishing thing when gathering food, and they often rotated between collection points.

The Bushmen lived without shrubs and thatch, and their dwellings were mostly grass huts made of local materials. To this day, the Bushmen still retain the habit of drilling wood for fire, they will put a handful of hay into a round hole in the wood block, and then use their hands to quickly turn a thin wooden stick inserted vertically in the round hole, and the grass can be ignited in less than 5 minutes.

The skin of the Bushmen was not as dark as that of the common black Africans, but was yellow or yellowish brown, and the facial features were close to those of Asian yellows. The tour guide humorously said that when early explorers from Portugal first encountered the Bushmen, they mistakenly thought they were descendants of Chinese. The British colonists named them bushman, which means people living in the bushes, which vividly describes their living conditions. As for the ancestors of the Bushmen, it is not clear.

Feast of Terror

When visiting the local tribe, a kind of cake called "Vader". Shaped like Chinese pancakes, but thicker than pancakes, with a tough texture, and a bit like Italian pizza. The taste of Vida is more sour, and when it is eaten, it is accompanied by meat, vegetables and a sauce called "wot", which is made of coffee powder and chili peppers, which is sour and spicy, and it is really unaccustomed to eating it for the first time. The bread they eat is covered with a red cloth to show their respect for their guests.

The dining table in the locals' home is also very interesting, as if it were a large basket woven from straw. When eating, add a lid to the basket and it becomes a table.

The Bushmen also had a great hobby, which was raw beef. This is a big dish in the local area, mainly used for weddings and funerals or holiday feasts. When eating, healthy and strong cattle are slaughtered and skinned on the spot, and when the beef is still warm, they are ground into minced meat, mixed with spices, and eaten on cakes. Raw beef must be absolutely fresh and hot, and once it is cooled, it cannot be eaten raw. Beef used to eat raw is generally the tenderest part of the beef tenderloin and the cow. The meat that can be eaten raw is only one-fifth of the body of a cow.

There is also a more terrible way to eat, the slaughtered cow peeled and hung there, the diners themselves go up to choose, see the satisfactory part of the knife cut down, cut into small pieces dipped in spices directly chewed, the more bloody the more popular. It is said that some local people can eat more than 3 kilograms of raw beef in one meal, which is really unimaginable!

Minced chili pepper is the seasoning for local people to eat beef. In order to alleviate the excitement of the bloody taste, a lot of peppers and salt were added, and the tongue was numbed by the spicy, and while winning a round of praise from the locals, I drank the water vigorously.

Rite of passage

The Beardman man, who was good at hunting, was the most favored by the girls. They hardly wear any clothes, and the only thing that counts as clothes is a fig leaf tied around the waist to cover the lower body, call it pants. Children are simply naked. Even women, the upper body is almost completely naked. As for wearing shoes, they considered them to be superfluous.[2]

The Bushmen attached great importance to the rite of passage. During the rite of passage, men live alone in bushy areas for a month. No one provides you with food and water, and to survive, you have to pick wild fruits or hunt to fill your hunger. This kind of field survival training, which is no less than that of special forces, is not a big problem for local newly adult boys, because they have followed their parents out hunting since they were young, and they have accumulated rich experience in wild survival, and many people are living happily in the wild.

The coming-of-age ceremony of the Bushmen maidens takes place for more than a month under the auspices of the tribal chief. In the meantime, they cannot eat certain foods and have to learn what adult women should know and master. After the ceremony, they can consider getting married.

The Bushman woman is not only small and exquisite, but also dances and swings her waist beautifully. As soon as you come into contact with them, you will find that these girls are very cute.

Language and culture

Modern science shows that the Bushmen have the earliest genetic map of human beings and are one of the early ancestors of human beings. They have their own language, but no writing. Its language is very unique, and many pronunciations are made by rubbing the tip of the tongue against the lips and teeth of the mouth. This method of vocalization arose when the human organ of pronunciation was not yet fully formed, so it can also be said that the Bushmen language was one of the earliest languages in the world. 3. The Land of the Feather People

Judging from the order of writing, the "Kingdom of yumin" should be adjacent to the "country of Jiyu". "Feather people" should be a feathered nation as the name suggests. The Hai Nei Jing records that "the country of the salt chief is the head of the bird, and the name of the bird clan".

The Hai Nei Jing:

There is a country where salt grows. There is a bird head, known as the Bird Clan.

This "salt country" is located in the salt lakes north of Botswana, and the black minority there wears feathers and bird heads.

4. A country with eggs

As the name suggests, "Where there is a nation with eggs, its people give birth to eggs." "It means that there are eggs on the human body here.

"Egg" refers to something round or oval. Because the "Classic of Mountains and Seas" records things that really existed in ancient times, and there is no such thing as demons and ghosts, it can be judged that "people" cannot produce "eggs", which should be a custom of the local indigenous people in Africa" that is, tattooing.

Through the search for information on indigenous Africans, it was found that the indigenous daasanach people in the Omo Valley region of Ethiopia have tattooed customs, as shown in the figure below:
