The 2021/22 Copa del Rey final took place in the early hours of this morning, with Betis and Valencia meeting for the final. The two teams drew 1-1 in regular time, with Moussa missing points in a penalty shootout and Betis hitting all of them to win the championship 6-5 on aggregate.

In the 11th minute of the first half, Bellerin crossed from the side and Iglesias jumped high inside the box to head the ball and Betis led 1-0.
In the 30th minute, Warren counter-attacked quickly, Mauriba dribbled the ball straight in, Douro faced Bravo and calmly shot into the far corner to break the goal, Andron equalized before half-time.

In the end, Real Betis defeated Valencia 1-1, 5-4 on penalties in regular time, and won the hard-won title.
In this cup, they eliminated Sevilla, Real Sociedad, Vallecano and Valencia. This is Betis's second trophy of the century, and the last time it won was the Copa del Rey in 2005, both of which Joaquin participated in.
