The women's team selection tournament is divided into two stages, and the players in the top four of the latest level directly enter the second stage. In the first stage, 10 people selected 4 people through the points arrangement competition to enter the second stage, and in the second stage, 8 people selected 4 people through the double round robin competition to be selected for the Asian Games list.
The women's group Yu Zhiying won 10 wins and 4 losses to qualify in the early round, and Zhou Hongyu ranked second with 9 wins and 5 losses, locking in the second qualifying place. Li He, Lu Minquan and Wu Yiming all won 8 and lost 6, and after a relatively small score, Li He and Lu Minquan successfully qualified. Yu Zhiying, Zhou Hongyu, Li He and Lu Minquan will represent the Chinese Go team at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. The Asian Games will take place from 10 to 25 September.
