Osvaldo Bagnoli, the 1984/85 coach who led Verona to a historic title, was born on 3 July 1935 in the Bovisa district of Milan, Italy. He took over from Inter Milan in July 1992 and coached the team for less than two seasons. He finished runner-up in Serie A in his first season and was sacked in February 1994 after coaching 22 rounds in 1993/94. During this period, he coached Inter Milan in 73 games, with a record of 36 wins, 23 losses and 14 wins, with a win rate of 49.41%.
