On April 20, the second plenary (expanded) meeting of the first session of the Binzhou Federation of Trade Unions was held, Ren Ting, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee, made a speech, and Xu Yali, deputy director of the municipal people's congress and chairman of the federation of trade unions, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, the advanced units and advanced individuals in the mutual assistance and guarantee work of the trade union work in 2021 were read and commended; the relevant responsible comrades of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions summarized the work in 2021 and arranged the deployment of the work tasks in 2022.
The meeting pointed out that the cause of the labor movement is an important part of the party's cause, and trade union organizations are an important bridge and link between the party and the masses of workers and staff. It is necessary to hold high the banner, lead the way, resolutely support the "two establishments," continue to strengthen theoretical armament, earnestly perform political responsibilities, and always adhere to the correct political direction; we must extensively carry out labor and skill competitions around the central task and serve the overall situation, vigorously carry forward the spirit of labor models, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmen, deepen mass innovation activities, and lead staff and workers to make meritorious contributions to a new era; we must blaze new trails, deepen reform, and make overall plans to promote the building of the rule of law in trade union work and the building of the trade union system, so as to push trade union work to a new level.
The meeting demanded that the city's trade unions at all levels should closely follow the general requirements of the "party's leadership," always maintain a correct political orientation, and strive to achieve a new improvement in ideological understanding; they should further focus on serving the overall situation of the central task and display their new trade union deeds in the process of promoting the high-quality development of Binzhou; they should grasp the general tone of "comprehensively and strictly administering the party," unremittingly grasp the building of trade union work style, strive to achieve a new atmosphere in strengthening their own construction, unite as one, faithfully perform their duties, and greet the victory of the party's twentieth national congress with practical actions.
