It is reported that Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone 14 series around September as usual, including the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The well-known analyst has previously claimed that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will also be equipped with an upgraded rear camera system with a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens that can record 8K video.
This larger aperture will allow more light to pass through the lens and reach the front camera sensor of the iPhone 14 model.
Analysts also said these camera upgrades could improve the depth of field for portrait mode photos and videos, while autofocus can enhance focus on FaceTime and Zoom video calls. In contrast, the front camera of all iPhone 13 models is fixed focus and /2.2 aperture.
Autofocus support and a lower f-number provide better shallow depth-of-field effects for selfie/portrait modes. In addition, AF can also enhance the focus effect of FaceTime/video call/live broadcast.
