In the blink of an eye in 34 years, this harvest of hot land is even more fertile, but shi Hongheng, a forensic doctor and first-level supervisor of police technology of the criminal police brigade of the Xinye County Public Security Bureau raised by her, suddenly fell ill on April 1, 2022, on the way to the forensic clinic, and his life was fixed at the age of 56.
Full of energy, 34 years buried in the scene of his eternal original intention
"We were still discussing the injury appraisal in the morning, arranging the division of work in the afternoon and the next few days, and I didn't expect to hear his bad news in the afternoon!" Speaking of Shi Hongheng, Wang Xingjia, a forensic doctor at the Xinye County Public Security Bureau, cried silently.
On April 1, Shi Hongheng came to the unit on time as usual, and at breakfast, together with colleagues Wang Xingjia and Wang Chenpei, studied the 8 difficult injuries that were difficult to judge one by one in the recent past. Shi Hongheng carefully went through the medical records, conducted in-depth analysis from the rationality of the formation of the injury, the reliability of the results, the consistency of the injury tools, etc., and strictly checked the issuance and correction of the appraisal documents until noon. During the period, they divided up the work in the near future, and Shi Hongheng will consult at the Xinye County Forensic Clinic in the afternoon. At lunch, Shi Hongheng, who was slightly unwell, proposed to go home and take some medicine to rest for a while, who knew that he suddenly fainted and was sent to the hospital for rescue without success...
This spirit of fearless sacrifice and dedication was actually buried in Shi Hongheng's heart very early. In 1982, Shi Hongheng's uncle Shi Degui, who was then a public security officer in Shi'an Township, Xinye County, was unfortunately martyred while fighting with fugitives, and was posthumously honored as a martyr by the Henan Provincial Public Security Department. Shi Hongheng, who was in school, made up his mind to be a people's policeman who guarded the safety of the masses like his uncle.
In 1988, Shi Hongheng, who graduated from Luoyang Medical College, gave up other better options and returned to his hometown to become a people's policeman. As one of the few forensic doctors in the unit, Shi Hongheng devoted himself to his work, running one scene after another, using simple instruments such as scalpels and microscopes to carry out on-site investigations, and with professional prudence, he seriously explored the truth hidden behind the wounds or pathology, and pointed out the direction for the detection or characterization of the case.
At the beginning of his work, Shi Hongheng received an alarm that the people in the jurisdiction had found a body in the well of the farmland machine. The corpse had not yet been pulled out of the wellhead, a foul smell and several flies came in droves, even if a whole bottle of "Exterminator Spirit" was used, but the flies still went forward and began to rain "fly rain". Shi Hongheng, who had never been to the scene of the crime, only felt that his internal organs were overturned, but in order to find out the cause of death as soon as possible, he quickly began a detailed investigation and evidence collection in the smell of stench and maggots on the ground... In this way, after nearly three hours of hard work, Shi Hongheng formed an accurate conclusion and laid a solid foundation for the characterization of the case.
Most of the forensic doctors work for corpses of different shapes, the work places are mostly in remote places, and the working hours are extremely irregular, many people are afraid of avoiding this position, but Shi Hongheng is happy to do so, regards the profession as more important than himself, and devotes himself to forensic work. In particular, in August 2019 and May 2020, he underwent two interventional cardiac surgeries and inserted three cardiac stents. However, Shi Hongheng, who was instructed by his doctor to go home to recuperate, often appeared at work on time the day after returning home. In his view, doing more appraisals and investigating a scene early can catch the criminal suspect as soon as possible and soothe the soul of the victim.
"Forensic doctors can't be lazy, and recuperating at home is also idle, I want to fight until the end..." In the face of the care of the organization and colleagues, Shi Hongheng insisted on being on the post, did not expect to become a slur, and dedicated his life to the cause of forensic medicine he loved.
A tenacious, "zero error" he only seeks the truth
"He's just a tough temper!" This is almost everyone's evaluation of Shi Hongheng. His tenacity and stubbornness come from his stubbornness to scale and the pursuit of justice.
As a forensic doctor, Shi Hongheng knows that it is necessary to master the diagnostic criteria of all medical professions from injury to illness, because an unclear diagnosis and an inaccurate scale will lead to inaccurate conclusions, and even let innocent parties be imprisoned or let suspects go unpunished.
In July 2009, Liang Mou, a member of the jurisdiction, died suddenly in bed, with obvious traffic accident scars, suspected bruises on his head, and vomit on the ground. After preliminary judgment, the police determined that the traffic accident caused the death caused by the brain and skull injury, and conducted an investigation around the vehicle before and after the incident. However, there were subtle scars on Liang's upper legs, which aroused Shi Hongheng's suspicions. How this scar is formed, whether it is the cause of death, etc. are unknown, so Shi Hongheng adopted the most primitive method, went to the slaughterhouse to select common murder weapons for testing, compared the wound area, injury traces, etc., after nearly a hundred tests, locked the murder weapon as rebar, determined that the head and other wounds were also caused by rebar, and the bed was not the first scene, so he quickly adjusted the direction of investigation. Sure enough, through investigation, the police found suspected blood stains nearly 800 meters from the scene of the crime, which was identified as consistent with Liang. Since then, the police have successfully locked in 4 people including criminal suspect Feng Mou around the scene of the crime. It turned out that after Feng injured Liang, because of repeated mediation failures, he was murderous, so he and his friends ambushed Liang in the place where Liang had to pass after work, hit Liang with rebar and fled. At this point, the truth of the case was revealed.
Whether it is a large case or a small case, or a difficult case, Shi Hongheng firmly believes that only by making authoritative appraisal conclusions can the parties be convinced and maintain fairness and justice. In June 2011, Liu Mou, a member of the jurisdictional area, was injured after a dispute with others, and was diagnosed with a comminuted fracture of the distal radius of the right side, which cost nearly 20,000 yuan in medical expenses, and he believed that the injury should constitute a minor injury and could be held criminally responsible. However, after learning more about the case, reviewing medical records and viewing X-rays, Shi Hongheng preliminarily determined that the comminuted fracture of the right radius was not a dispute-induced injury. As soon as the conclusion came out, he was questioned by Liu's family and threatened to take various forms to seek justice. In the face of everyone's confusion, Shi Hongheng, together with relevant experts, formed a convincing chain of evidence from multiple angles such as injury and pathology, and in the face of iron evidence, Liu had to tell the truth, and it turned out that the key injury was liu who fell and caused injuries five days before the crime.
Relying on excellent professional knowledge and rigorous work attitude, shi Hongheng has issued more than 8,000 appraisal documents of various types since 34 years since the police, achieving zero errors and zero mistakes, and has pointed out the direction of investigation or directly locked suspects for more than 100 major criminal cases.

Xinye County is located in the central plain area, the four seasons are distinct, seasonal drought occurs frequently, and there are many irrigation machine wells in farmland, and there are also many people who jump wells and fall into wells due to light birth. However, most of the wells are about 50 centimeters in diameter and about 20 meters deep, and it is very difficult to salvage, and often only the method of dismantling the wells can be taken, which not only consumes manpower and material resources, but also takes a long time, and even destroys a large area of crops around it. Shi Hongheng, who was in his eyes and anxious in his heart, went to the mechanical manufacturing plant in the jurisdiction for advice after work, groped for the production of convenient salvage tools, and finally successfully designed a tool similar to a grappling hook, which could salvage the corpses in the well within ten minutes, and successfully salvaged nearly twenty corpses of various types. During this period, Shi Hongheng also combined with actual combat, and successively wrote academic papers such as "The Criteria for Injury Identification Urgently Need to Be Revised" and "Two Cases of Acute Death of Thyroid Crisis Skull into Reddish", which were publicly published and concentrated in academic seminars held by the Appraisal Center of the Ministry of Public Security.
However, Shi Hongheng, who devoted himself to his work and made extraordinary achievements, often ignored himself and his family, never asked the organization to adjust his position and declare rewards, and only won a few honors such as the outstanding people's police in the province.
