The Pelicans beat the Suns 125-114 on the road today, rewriting the big score to 1-1.

Ingram played 39 minutes today, shooting 13-of-21, including 3-of-4 three-pointers and 8-of-8 free throws, for a large quasi-triple-double of 37 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. In the second half, Ingram scored 26 points and scored consecutive goals in key moments of the final quarter, contributing a total of seven points in the last two minutes or so to win his first playoff victory.

Ingram is the third player in Pelicans history to cut at least 35 points and 10 rebounds in a single game in the playoffs, on par with David West and Thick Brow (3 times). Meanwhile, Ingram became the fifth player after Barkley, James, Durant and Butler to finish at least 37 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in the playoffs with 75 percent + true shooting

McCollum also did well today, playing 39 minutes and shooting 7-of-18, including 6-of-10 from three-point range and 3-of-4 from the free throw line

On the Suns side, Booker was also very powerful, playing only 24 minutes, shooting 12 of 19, including 7 of 11 three-pointers, and had 31 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist. In the first half, Booker cut 30+, but in the third quarter he injured his hamstring and did not play again, and the Suns also lost the game.

If Booker hadn't suffered an injury, taking 40+, or even 50+, shouldn't be a problem, and whether the Pelicans can win is hard to say, but Ingram will probably play better and possibly get 40+.

Paul was average today, shooting 5-of-16, including 2-of-6 from three-point range, with 17 points and 14 assists. It is worth mentioning that Paul performed well in the last game, starting 35 minutes, shooting 12 of 16, 4 of 6 from three-point range, 30 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 3 steals on 2 free throws, which was the 10th time in his playoff career that he had 30+10 assists in a single game, behind James (22), Jordan (15), Jerry West (14) and Robertson (12). But today Paul was not very strong, failing to lead the Suns to win after Booker's injury.
