At a modern art museum, a 64-year-old woman sat in a chair for 736 hours. Expressionless, she challenged the gaze of more than 1,500 strangers.
Until a man appeared, she burst into tears and held out her hands. This man is the lover she has loved for 12 years and separated for 22 years.

The old woman, Marina Abramovich, was a world-renowned performance artist.
On March 14, 2010, inside the bustling Museum of Modern Art in New York, Abramovich began another performance art creation in a spacious exhibition hall with a table and two chairs.
For two and a half months, every day, as soon as the museum opened, Abramovich sat on that chair on time, seven hours a day, six days a week.
Over the course of 736 hours, she took on the challenge of more than 1,500 spectators from around the world.
In the eyes with her, some people cry, some people laugh, some people are like needle felt, some people are quiet like virgins, and all beings are all kinds. And Abramovich remained like a quiet statue, without showing a trace of emotion, until the appearance of Ouray.
When Ulay, who was full of white hair and full of vicissitudes, sat silently opposite Abramovich, this time, people found that Abramovich was no longer indifferent. There was surprise and tears in her eyes. They looked at each other affectionately, stretched out their hands, and clasped their fingers.
After a few tens of seconds, Ulay got up and left. Abramovich covered his face and wept.

Ulay is also a performance artist and is Abramović's once beloved lover.
In 1976, after the two met, they created many famous works of performance art together. In some crazy and exciting performance art performances, they even entrusted their lives to each other.
In the eyes of the world, they were once called "symbiotic" partners. But 12 years later, the two came to an end.

In 1988, before breaking up, they came to China and collaborated on their last work, "Lover - The Great Wall". They set off from Shanhaiguan and Jiayuguan respectively, headed in opposite directions, and three months later, they met at Erlang Mountain in Shanxi Province and waved goodbye.
This distinction is 22 years. Until May 31, 2010, they were reunited at the New York Museum of Art.

In this lifetime, people will meet many people.
Some people can hold your hand, the mountain is high and the road is far, accompany you for a lifetime; some people, the road ahead is long, can only accompany you for a ride; some people, turn a corner and disappear.
In this world, love also has many forms.
Some love can be accompanied by green years to whiteheads; some love makes you unforgettable and cannot help yourself; some love, plain and plain, is an ordinary day.
Some love will also be scattered. Like Abramovich and Ulay.
Even if they haven't seen each other for 22 years, the goodbye still makes them feel very emotional. In those tens of seconds of looking at each other, they saw the depth of love in the past, the feelings of beauty and love in the past. Abu returned to Abu himself. Once again, together they created a new work.
As Byron wrote in a poem: If he were to reunite one day, how would I congratulate you, with silence, with tears.
