Miss is a love suspense film directed by Park Chan-wook and starring Kim Min-hee, Kim Tae-ri, Ha Jong-woo and Cho Jin-woong, released in South Korea on June 1, 2016.
Based on the novel "City of Thorns" by British writer Sarah Waters, the film tells the story of The noble lady Shuko (Kim Min-hee), who was adopted by the erotic illustrator Yue Jiaoming (Cho Jin-hung) in Korea during the Japanese imperialist period, and seems to outsiders to be an envied greenhouse flower, but she does not know that she is actually the head of the erotic reading club performed by her uncle Yue Jiaoming to succeed her aunt who committed suicide. Fujiwara (Ha Jeong-woo), a con artist posing as a count, invites Shu-hee (Kim Tae-ri), who grew up in a thief's house, to be the maid of honor of the lady, and after cheating on the marriage, she imprisons the lady in a mental hospital and embezzles her property.
Shu-hee happily agrees to the Earl's request for money, and the housekeeper Sasaki (Kanehae-sook) takes her into the deep daimyo, but while taking care of the sensitive and slender lady, the two gradually develop a relationship. With the subtle reaction of eye contact and physical contact, the two eventually unite and break through the layers of etiquette and obstruction to finally become a family member on a passenger ship fleeing to Shanghai.
