As a high-end brand of Chery, although the attention of Xingtu is not high, it is also a real step by step forward, for example, it has also launched its own hybrid - Star Core Power ET-i Hybrid Technology, and the first model equipped with this technology is Xingtu Wind Chasing ET-i.

Chery Xingtu Wind Chasing ET-i is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 115 kW and a maximum torque of 230 Nm in terms of power, and is equipped with a front-mounted dual motor with a total motor power of 125 kW and a total motor torque of 315 Nm. This hybrid system of the same origin as Chery Kunpeng Power, unlike other hybrids, the two motors of the wind chasing ET-i can drive the vehicle, so its maximum power can reach 240kW, the torque can reach 510N·m, 6.8 seconds to break the hundred, excellent performance.
Moreover, its 3-speed DHT transmission is able to intervene in an 18km/h engine. For example, the single gear of DM-i will enter the direct drive mode until more than 60km/h; the two-gear Great Wall Lemon DHT also needs 40km/h to drive directly. So in theory, the performance and fuel consumption performance of the Star Trail ET-i will be better. However, at present, the ET-i hybrid system does not support the series mode of the motor and the engine, that is, the extended range mode, and there is still room for improvement in fuel economy.
Compared with the same level of domestic plug-in hybrid compact SUV, Xingtu Chasing WIND ET-i has certain advantages at a price of 14.98-15.98 million yuan. Taking BYD Song PLUS as an example, the official guidance price of DM-i models is 15.28-20.58 million yuan. WeY's Macchiato DHT-PHEV model official guidance price is 178,880-18.98 million yuan. At this level, the price of joint venture brands has reached the level of 250,000+.
