O'Sullivan has recently been mentoring the 25-year-old youngster, helping him establish a systematic game idea and offensive strategy, and maximizing the potential of Zhao Xintong.

This season, Zhao Xintong has won two ranking championships at the British Championship and the German Masters. He beat Jamie Clark 10-2 in the first round at Crucible, giving him a good start to his world championship journey.

O'Sullivan enjoyed working with Zhao Xintong and said he appreciated his performance in the first round, and he felt that Zhao Xintong would have multiple world champions in the future.

O'Sullivan said: "I enjoy spending time with him (Zhao Xintong) and mentoring and helping him. I love watching him play in the first round, he's improved a lot. It was exciting and I loved what he showed us. ”

"I said, if you like it, do it, if you don't like it... But he's enjoying it! ”

"It can be said that once I am gone, I have to leave a person with the same 'destructive power' as me on the tour, and Zhao Xintong is the one I want to stay." He was born to play snooker and he's getting involved in the sport in the way I'd like to see. ”

"He's the only player I can coach because the way he plays and the way he views the game is similar to mine. He also learned quickly. ”

"If other players ask me to help coach them, I may not be able to do it. But Zhao Xintong has the ability, level and wisdom to accept my guidance. ”

"I think if he plays to 80 percent of his potential, he's going to win five or six world titles, and that's a breeze."

"It's not that he's not stressed out, because it may not be pressure on him, but I have great hopes for this kid."
