In order to protect this green, Evenk Banner strictly implements various ecological civilization systems and resolutely eliminates environmental pollution and ecological damage from the source. At the same time, relying on Huaneng Yimin Coal and Power Company, Shenhua Dayan Mining Group Company and other state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises, we will develop circular economy industries and build environment-friendly enterprises. Since 2016, Quanqi has invested more than 300 million yuan in environmental pollution prevention and control funds, the ambient air quality in each township is excellent, the Yimin River has reached three types of water bodies, and the Hui River, Weina River, Sini River and other rivers maintain natural water quality.
In the construction of grassland protection, "first increase grass, then increase livestock", promote the balance of grass and livestock, so that natural grassland can be recuperated, and at the same time, rest grazing and forbidden grazing, so that the grassland ecological environment can be effectively improved and the productivity of grassland has been significantly improved. And continue to implement forestry ecology and grassland protection projects, strictly implement key forest and grassland projects, implement the compensation mechanism for forest ecological benefits, and promote the sustained growth of forest coverage rate in the whole flag. Up to now, the local forestry forest area of Evenke banner has reached 2.784 million mu, the forest coverage rate has reached 15.24%, the accumulation of living standing wood has reached 12.73 million cubic meters, and from 2016 to 2019, a total of 880,000 mu of artificial afforestation, mountain closure and afforestation, sand prevention and sand control have been completed, and at the same time, relying on the "Three Norths" shelter forest project, water conservation forests and windproof and sand fixing forests have been vigorously created on both sides of the Yimin River and Hui River.
Since 2008, three rounds of ecological restoration of reclaimed woodland grassland have been launched. At present, in addition to the 310,000 mu of stable farmland returned to farmland, there are still 600,000 mu of reclaimed woodland grassland in the whole flag that need ecological restoration. At the same time, the flag forestry and grassland departments have linked up with various Sumu townships and public security departments to crack down on illegal reclamation of grassland forest land in accordance with the law. Up to now, hulunbuir city has completed the task of 58,000 mu of pilot projects for ecological restoration of grasslands reclaimed in Ewenke Banner, of which 38,000 mu have been returned to forest and 20,000 mu to grassland.
In the construction of wetland reserves and wetland parks, Evenk Banner actively integrates into the construction of Hulunbuir National Park to ensure the protection of biodiversity, adhere to the harmonious coexistence between man and nature, adhere to the principle of giving priority to conservation, protection and natural restoration, and has now established 5 wetland nature reserves at all levels, with an area of 643,600 hectares.
At present, the forest coverage rate of the Evenk Banner, the comprehensive vegetation coverage of the grassland, and the ecological restoration of the reclaimed woodland grassland have been newly improved, and the mobile sand and semi-fixed sand land with the most serious harm in the whole flag have been basically treated, and the goal of "sand-free flag county" has been initially realized, and the Ewenke contribution has been made to the construction of an important ecological security barrier in the north of the mainland.
