The Lixiang Railway is the "Heavenly Road" connecting Lijiang City with Shangri-La City of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and the JinshaJiang Special Bridge is a full-line control project. The total length of the bridge is 882.5 meters, the main span is 660 meters, and the vertical distance of the bridge deck from the river surface is about 250 meters, which is equivalent to the height of more than 80 floors. The main bridge adopts a suspension suspension bridge with a bearing steel truss girder, and both ends of the bridge are connected to the tunnel, which will set a number of records for the largest span of steel truss girder suspension bridge in railway construction after completion. According to the person in charge of the project department of the Jinshajiang Special Bridge of Lixiang Railway of China Railway Bridge Bureau, the bridge started construction in October 2015 and helong on October 13, 2020, during which it overcame difficulties such as high safety risks, small construction site, plateau rainy season construction, and difficult linear control, solved the problem of mountain railway suspension bridge construction, and realized a number of technological innovations and achievements transformation. At present, the project is undergoing ancillary structural construction, and the bridge is expected to open within this year.
