In November, Ryo Asuka, a 58-year-old lead singer of the Japanese rock group "Chuck and Asuka", was arrested on suspicion of taking amphetamines, and the urine test result was positive, causing an uproar. At that time, he stressed that "100% no positive reaction", after 20 days of investigation, he was sentenced not to prosecute and released on the 19th; but his confession also caused heated discussion among netizens.

Asuka Ryo was announced by the Tokyo Metropolitan Procuratorate not to prosecute on the grounds of insufficient evidence, and was released on the evening of the 19th, and when he stepped out of the district prosecutor's office without saying a word, he only nodded to about 200 reporters present and left in a car. It is reported that although he was arrested because he tested positive for the drug, he later confessed to the police that he secretly exchanged urine for tea on the day of the urine test; but because the police only obtained a small number of urine samples, and because the test ran out, they failed to test again to verify the bird, plus the police searched the bird's residence and restaurant, and did not find enough evidence of drug use, so they did not prosecute.

In 2014, Asuka Liang was searched by the police from his home for a total of 26.73 grams of stimulants and ecstasy, and then admitted that he was addicted to drugs in 2010, spending NT$240,000 per month to buy drugs, which was a shock bomb for the show business at that time. Although the acquittal was released this time, it also caused negative speculation from all walks of life, and I am afraid that it will be difficult to come back in the short term.
