Among them, there is also Mr. Wu Shanming's calligraphy to help participate in the auction, and the interest is naturally not low. In fact, it is a new trick made by a group of friends who love literature and calligraphy. But it was also on that occasion that I was honored to photograph Mr. Nguyen Tan Ya's "Autumn Colors and Autumn Sounds" (four feet apart). The huang ju on the screen is independent of the cold autumn, light and thick, clear and eternal. So he took a picture with the painter in the spotlight, and when he returned home, he carefully stored the painting in the top bookcase. Last autumn, just as the moths were singing in the cracks of the stones, I suddenly found that the autumn sound of the painting jumped out, and in the corner under the chrysanthemum fence there were two autumn insects "in the wild in July"!
Autumn sounds are made by two crickets.
The dark cricket is written with a work belt, and the god is in the form of a bishop. I think that without a mischievous childhood, without the experience of catching crickets in the rock pile, it would be absolutely impossible to paint the majestic posture of drums and wings, brave and aggressive. It turned out that Ruan Zhenya liked to draw crickets like Qi Baishi, but the crickets in the old man's pen always grabbed the main position, and he hid them here, if you don't look closely, it is difficult to find.
A few years ago, when I was moving to sort out a bunch of letters, I suddenly touched a hard card, thought it was a CD, and when I held it up, it was Ruan Zhenya who drew a pair of crickets on a small card paper the size of a palm. Ruan Zhen ya is good at painting crickets, but also likes to paint crickets, the most amazing thing is that he once painted two crickets on two thin popsicles, the sticks are only one centimeter wide, but the painting is the same fine, the same meticulous, what kind of eyesight and pen power is needed. This reminds me of an inscription poem written by Ruan Zhenya: "Baishi Shan Weng is grounded, and his pen is heroic and exquisite." Freehand painting is not random, and the master also starts from carving insects. ”
Last year, I also saw a "Dragon Boat Festival" sketch by Ruan Zhenya, which only showed rice dumpling loquat and salted eggs. Among them, there are four rice dumplings, three of which are twisted and twisted by the hemp thread that seem to be hanging in the air, and one of which is peeled off and lying frankly on the long rice dumpling leaves, the sticky rice grains can be felt, look at it a few times, trance seems to have a burst of rice dumpling incense with hot air wafting in, fixed on the light red rice dumpling tip, there are also a few deep and shallow red beans, the tip of the tongue seems to lick the sweetness! But before you can exclaim, your eyes have already fallen on the cut half plus a small salted duck egg, the yolk protein and the eggshell is too realistic to make people fall back to childhood - in that era of lack of materials, a salted duck egg was cut into four equal parts, one for each brother and sister, ask which family did not come this way?
Although there is no calamus on the Dragon Boat Painting and no male yellow, it is a microcosm of a family spending the Dragon Boat Festival in the 1950s and 1960s.
The calamus that did not appear in the "Dragon Boat Festival" is actually Ruan Zhenya's favorite. He had a pot of calamus dug up by his own hands in his house, and when he planted it, he rejoiced; he flourished, and he loved it. In the paintings of Dabogu created by him, the "figure" of this pot of calamus can often be seen. Recently went to the Royal Street Qiantang Calligraphy and Painting Research Society to see the exhibition, found that Ruan Zhenya's desk, there is a small glass tea cup planted with a few small calamus, when I went just happened to bump into him to bring the small tea cup to the sun in the shade of the sidewalk trees. After an hour, he received several groups of visitors, but when he was about to leave, he did not forget to take back the small calamus. Don't look at his height and strength, don't think that he will grin like ordinary men, the subtleties of the painter's life are also beyond the reach of ordinary people.
Art reflects that life is interesting, and art is higher than life to generalize. After the painting is done, it touches the aesthetic nerves of the reader, and what jumps out may be a typical historical memory.
Ruan Zhenya, who loves life, advocates details, is good at layout, and has the kind of pen power rooted in the back of the paper that can be engraved and can be fully expanded. It is a high-level art non-heritage category that integrates epigraphy, archaeology and aesthetics, and is the peak of the development of Chinese rubbing techniques. The full form of the extension came from the cultural relics, and it has now become a cultural relic.
The development of Ruan Zhenya is to transplant this kind of full-shaped extension to the Chinese painting, so that his Meilan bamboo chrysanthemum is "planted" into the utensils of the full-shaped extension in a kaleidoscopic way: zhong ding, wine vessel, seal, ancient brick, tile, etc., which suddenly makes the flowers have ancient rhyme, and the bell and ding utensils show vitality, the picture ink blends with the ancient, the topography is smooth and quiet, this kind of flower and bird painting with the present to the ancient, activated the art of the full-shaped extension, and is also loved by many calligraphy and painting collectors.
Ruan Zhenya Shanggu, likes to collect, and is also good at painting some Chinese paintings that reflect folklore according to the seasons, and the inscriptions often have a deliberate banter, which may be called "cold humor". For example, the painting clearly paints two starlings, but the drop is "generational ranking to eight, not brothers and sisters", people can't help but be handsome; and for example, recently due to the epidemic in Shanghai, vegetables are tight, he will put a bundle of flowers on the picture, the drop "stir-fried sauce roasted into the taste", try to ask if you go to the vegetable farm, will you pick a handful of flowered vegetable hearts? So the people who understand it are happy with themselves; and before and after the Year of the Tiger this spring, Ruan Zhenya, who belongs to the tiger of the zodiac, feels that the tiger paintings hanging in the living room and study are too fierce, so he puts the big eyes, flat body shape, teeth and grin, stupid and cute folk cloth tiger on the annual card, and how many are painted in the year and year, may not be counted. And the most interesting thing is that he painted the cloth tiger on the porcelain plate, and the tiger's eyes stared foolishly at a rusted patina ancient coin, which was interesting and imagined.
In real life, many people call him Ruan Peony, and Mr. Wang Bomin, an art historian, also called his peony unique "Lotus Charm". His paintings have been on television, numerous newspapers and magazines, many albums, many exhibitions, and professional auctions, and Ruan Zhenya is an authentic calligrapher and painter. In real life, he is also a multi-tasking social activist. Now the director of the Central Painting Institute of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, the vice president of the Zhejiang Modern Painting Institute, the director of the Calligraphy and Painting Society of Zhejiang University, the vice president and secretary general of the Hangzhou Qiantang Calligraphy and Painting Research Society, etc., no matter how busy the social work is, a painting a day is indispensable, a daily hanging in the WeChat group, 365 days a day is not lacking, this kind of extraordinary diligence has to be admired.
