Rockchip's RV11xx series chips are Arm PSA Certified

Recently, Rockchip's RV11xx series chips (RV1126/RV1109/RV1106/RV1103) officially passed the PSA Certified Level 1 security certification. The certification is an international authoritative certification, which is the relevant testing and certification launched by Arm in conjunction with a number of independent security testing laboratories and consulting agencies for IoT chips, software and devices, aiming to ensure the security of IoT products from design to practical application.

The RV11xx series is Rockchip's vision processor SoC, which is suitable for machine vision and artificial intelligence computing related applications such as IPC, smart screen, vehicle vision, AI camera, and smart home. The RV11xx family of chips features an Arm Cortex-A7 32-bit CPU core with a built-in set of powerful hardware engines that provide optimized performance for smart vision applications, including VPU/RGA/NPU/ISP. The RV11xx also has a powerful security subsystem module that supports Arm TrustZone isolation, cryptographic hardware accelerator, secure OTP, secure boot, and more.

With the increasing demand for IoT embedded devices, security has become a fundamental requirement for device design and deployment. In addition to the vision chip RV11xx series, two high-performance flagship chips RK3399Pro and RK3399 have obtained PSA Certified certification last year, and have also obtained Arm SystemReady IR (IoT Ready) certification for hardware and firmware compatibility of devices initiated by Arm. Rockchip will help terminal partners to quickly and efficiently land more competitive IoT products from the two aspects of security and compatibility.
