Elena Weinstein's Apartment, a Parisian-style project that is still regarded as a model today, is not a replica, but an original work. The owner is a lover of art and books that has hardly changed in the last decade. After the apartment was finished, she moved in and everything was still there and she didn't want to change anything because everything was so harmonious.
Elena has always dreamed of adding space to the loft, but since she lives between Moscow and Paris and works in design, she doesn't have enough time to improve her home. During the pandemic, they completed all the improvements to the house in six months. Because she was forced to live here for a long time, she was able to control the construction site every day to make the quality of the work perfect. For the complex space on the second floor, this is not a luxury, but a necessity.
The project was completed by the Akant Bureau and Maria Shubina. Colleagues and friends of the hostess Albina Nazimova also participated in the project, opening up a new space for the space, flanked by mirrored niches with bookshelves. Books usually take up all the space available to them – apartments are not only real Parisian apartments, but also the apartments of real intellectuals. Since the execution is impeccable, it also looks very lively, which is a rare combination.
