"The Jianghu of Little Bean Bags" was written for the sadness of a parent reader.

A few years ago I wrote the short story "Is Stealing a Child's Childhood a Steal?" "Written is the story of 3 12-year-old boys growing up, after the Publication of Beijing Literature", it was selected by the "Novel Monthly", there are many young readers who leave messages saying that their junior high school life is like that, and most parent readers feel that they do not understand their children, there is a parent's message that touched me very much, she said that she did not understand what happened to the children in school, it was very sad to think, I promised to write about the children's school life for her again.

The reason why I chose primary school, especially the lower grade stage of primary school, to write this novel is because at this stage, children have begun to move towards "society", but it is more difficult to explain their own encounters, it is difficult to take the initiative to seek help from adults, and it seems difficult for parents to understand children; after growing up, people are busy with life, as if they have forgotten their origins, they can no longer treat children as a complete person, and it has become difficult to understand the child's world. The growth of this young shoot stage is arduous, but important, preparing for adolescence. Studies have shown that children's abuse is doubled between the ages of 3 and 9, because children in this age group are still powerless, but they begin to have their own will, and when adults try to completely control them for various reasons, they will provoke internal and external resistance, and the conflict will intensify. It may be more likely that the adult world's harm to children will be disguised in all kinds of seemingly innocuous ways, such as a question, a shallow laugh, a seemingly witty statement... It seems as if nothing has happened to people to be in a dilemma or feel humiliated, and the child will be powerless to extricate themselves, form internal injuries, and they can't tell what happened. Now the children are from the age of 6 in elementary school, the lower grade stage is in this sensitive period, I think someone should speak for the children, so I decided to write their lives from the perspective of the little bean bags, to write for adults, but not simply to write about children, I try to write about the complexity and depth of life itself in the context of the big times, and no matter how much suffering can not hide the beauty.

I would like to thank the young readers who provided me with vivid material, for example, the world of the girls in the novel, mostly provided by the daughter of one of my colleagues, who was about to graduate from college and told the story of her elementary school life that she remembered vividly, her mother was shocked, and her daughter experienced so much silently like a plant, almost alone to bear the pain of growing up. I still remember the three of us sitting in the café relatively speechless and crying, but we were in touch with each other... The kindness and tolerance of the children touched me from beginning to end, no matter what happened to them, they tried to understand the world around them in their little hearts, from the most kind to explain the behavior of adults, they loved their parents and teachers so much, they found that beautiful abilities are worth learning. In addition, there are always people who say that children are born philosophers, and they think about the nature of life, which is true. The characteristics of human memory make it difficult for us to remember the panorama of our childhood. Therefore, observing the growth of children helps to understand the adult self, understand the child and help the child grow up, but also the process of raising ourselves, especially at the spiritual and psychological level, for which it is necessary for us to thank the children.

In the process of writing, I have always tried to maintain a bowl of water flat state, in order to reflect the original face of life, to create flesh and blood characters, the teachers and parents are not black and white, they carry the complexity of ordinary people, the helplessness in the background of the big era is reflected in everyone. In the pain and hardship of life itself, in the temporary inability to change the environment, the characters in the novel are trying to find their own solutions, I recorded these, to provide a new perspective for the reader who has a heart, some effective communication with children and understanding of the skills to channel children's emotions. More importantly, I am willing to present and pass on the children's pure and beautiful spiritual world to the readers, and it is gratifying that many ordinary readers have published their feelings after reading on their public accounts or Douban platforms, feedback that they are moved by the novel, and trigger thoughts or memories, I think this is a situation that the author is most happy to see, and it is also the happiest moment.

Thanks to "October" for letting the little bean bags be seen, being seen is the beginning of love. In particular, I would like to explain that the editor's teacher suggested that the end of the novel be revised, with the intention that parents also need a graduation photo, which can be described as a stroke of God, and I hope that we will grow up with the children.
