At least half of Chinese artists have a dream of Jiangnan in their hearts, as if art naturally wants to be connected with Jiangnan. Most people born in Jiangnan are more or less attached to art, and that little taste may be the elegant atmosphere that flutters in Jiangnan life. Feng Lei is a graceful man who came out of the shuxiang family in Jiangnan.

Feng Lei was a descendant of the school, and Feng Guifen, the owner of the school, was the leader of Daoguang for twenty years, and the initiator and advocate of the "Foreign Affairs Movement" in the late Qing Dynasty. Feng Guifen is not only an important thinker, politician and scholar in modern times, but also a famous bibliophile and calligrapher. Feng Lei, who was born in the school, naturally loved books.

Feng Lei and I don't know how to meet. Suddenly, one day, he visited the Burrow in my new village of Lihe. At that time, I was flipping through the "Guangqing Tablet Collection" given by Mr. Qian Zhonglian, the master of Mengfu. Feng Guifen's epitaph of Li Yunsheng was collected in the collection, and he borrowed it to read it. When I returned the book later, I saw that there was another copy on my desk--it was given by the same teacher who participated in the compilation of this book--"The Collection of Guangqing Tablets", and after saying how good this book was, I asked if I could give him an extra copy, and of course I agreed. Feng Lei was diligent in reading literature and history, and spit the income from a volume of books in his chest to the end of the pen, so his calligraphy and painting prints had a special book charm. Feng Lei Linti is as diligent as reading. He got up early and took Linchi as a daily lesson every morning, from the Second King Tang Kai to Su Huang Mi Cai, from the Qin Seal Han To the Southern and Northern Dynasties Statue Epitaphs, and he pursued everything. The "Seventeen Theses" volume is extremely ethereal, the "Lingu Ti" series of "Lingu Ti" series of "Lingu Ti" is extremely flowing, and the stone drums are extremely simple and mao. Sumi was the most popular wind god, especially the Minang Palace, and Feng Lei had done enough work. Therefore, in his creation, the book is obtained from rice to the situation, from the eastern slope to the taste, and the second king is taken from its colorful and handsome penmanship. His seal book obtains ancient interest from the scattered disks, and obtains strength and elegance from the stone drums, especially from wu Changshuo's stone drums. His stone drum couplet can be described as a god-like wang, and his lishu couplet is exactly like our teacher Mr. Hua Rende.

Feng Lei and I are both students of Teacher Hua Rende, and Feng Lei is even more of a teacher. At the age of 16, he studied calligraphy and painting under Mr. Gao Shiding, a famous wumen master, and studied calligraphy and painting seal engraving under Mr. Ma Shida, Zhang Yongbo, Li Heyun, Zhou Zhimin, wu Yuanjing, and re-asked Mr. Zhang Jixin, Ma Bole and Yang Mingyi to learn the art of painting. In recent years, he has also traveled to the famous artists of the Haipai and Xiling Seal Society, and enjoyed the classics of the past. Feng Lei is versatile, his landscape is deep in the penmanship, sometimes more warm charm, and even the coloring is more beautiful. Wang Yuanqi said: "To set the color, a deeper layer, not to take the color, but to take the breath, to dye the spirit, all borrowed." "Unlike da di zi who was born in a bitter cold, Feng Lei grew up in the warm soil of Wuzhong, and there was naturally more breath in his chest. Therefore, he intends that Shen Zhou and Wu Hufan landscapes can also penetrate deep into its essence. It is precisely because of his enthusiasm for life that he often has some childlike strange tastes in his eyes, and such fun is in line with the flowers, birds, insects and fish of the old man of Shiraishi that he admires, and there is not only fun in his sketches, but also affectionate. The sound of frogs in the stream, autumn crabs on the lake, cold chrysanthemums on the fence, yundang in the wind, posture and head horns, branches and leaves, full of paper Jiangnan flavor and full of fun.
