The first night shift

author:SCCD small jumping frog

After more than twenty years on the job, this is the first time that I have worked the night shift. After the children knew, they were curious to ask, why do they have to work the night shift? I said that it was the unit regulations, and when I was on night duty, I had to abide by the rules to go on duty and complete the tasks assigned by the unit. It's like you guys doing your homework. Children are still very curious, how can there be a bed in the office? What does the bed look like? I said I don't know, the bed heard that It was in the duty room.

Yesterday afternoon, I arrived at work at 5 o'clock on time, and I had to be on duty until 9 o'clock today. After 8 o'clock last night, the children still couldn't help but try to solve the doubts in their hearts, how to install beds in the office, what kind of beds. Therefore, the children took a walk to the unit after dinner to find out. After reading it, I went home happily. It reminds me of when I was a child when my dad took me to his unit to work the night shift. At that time, I was only a few years old (I can't remember exactly how old), our family was in the countryside, my father's unit was outside the east gate of the town, and at that time I saw it as on the street, the place I longed for (jumping out of the farm gate and becoming a city person). When I went, I was also very curious, this look at the touch, it is still very fresh. This may be the nature of children. I still remember that Dad's office was connected to the duty room, and the duty room had two doors, one side of the large office, the other side of the corridor aisle, and the bed inside was a wooden frame bed. I still remember that my father rode a bicycle to take me to his unit on night shift, the fluorescent lights in the duty room were still quite bright, and I played in the office for a while, looked at the telephone landline, and a large black phone was framed by a wooden box to protect it, as if it was precious. I also played with a necklace with a back needle on dad's desk, and finally dad put hot water to wash his face and feet, and then rested. The next day I also went to the canteen on the first floor to buy porridge and steamed buns. It's still good to remember now, and the memory is still fresh.

My father who loves me has been away from us for 35 years due to illness, and now I recall the fragments of my childhood is still a beautiful picture, and it is good to have a father's child...
