Dealers of these used cars said that due to the situation in Russia and Ukraine, from the end of February to the present, there has been a backlog of more than 3,000 used cars here.
The reason for the large backlog is first of all the suspension of freighters to Russia under the situation between Russia and Ukraine, resulting in logistics chaos; secondly, some Russian banks have been sanctioned by the United States and Europe, which has affected the settlement of Russian trade. In addition, the ruble recently depreciated sharply, triggering a sharp rise in the price of used cars in Japan in Russia. These factors have led to the obstruction of Japanese used car exports to Russia.
According to reports, the number of cars exported by some dealers to Russia last month fell sharply by more than 90%. According to the dealer here, how the vehicles will be handled is still unknown.
