According to Liang Jianbo, tea production in Lidong Town originated in the 1960s, when Zhiqing went to the countryside to bring experience in planting tea and tea making technology, planted a piece of tea forest, and has been passed down to this day. It is just that the lack of brand packaging, creation, sales, lack of money, and low output have made most tea farmers abandon this industry, and a large number of tea trees have been abandoned.
In 2015, with the support of his father, who had experience in growing tea and making tea, Liang Jianbo led the establishment of the Wuge Tea Industry Professional Cooperative in Xinxing County, which developed in the mode of "cooperative + company + farmer", and obtained the national SC certification that year, and so far, the cooperative has 128 tea farmer professional households, and the tea garden base is about 310 acres. The cooperative unifies tea seedling cultivation, production technology, packaging and sales, and the products run through the concept of green, ecological and organic, and the current annual output is more than 60,000 jin, forming a characteristic brand of "Lidong Tea". In 2020, it won the professional village certificate of "one village, one product, one town and one industry" issued by the Department of Agriculture of Guangdong Province, and the precise poverty alleviation consumption poverty alleviation love enterprise, and won the title of "Provincial Farmers' Cooperative Demonstration Society" in the same year.
