Xi Haiquan: I would like to use this article to commemorate Niu Waye, who died in the Weihua Uprising

Hopefully, that's where it starts

After the rain is clear, the blue sky floats to see the milky white clouds, and the pines and cypresses in the Huazhou Yuanqu District are woven together by the wild chrysanthemums blooming on the ground. It seemed to open his mind and revel in the embrace of the Qinling Dragon Vein. The breeze blows Buddha, and the birds sing the fragrance of flowers. The rushing stream of the Jianyu River is condescending, like a wild horse that has lost its reins, bypassing the Daodao village, crossing the undulating high slopes, mercilessly impacting the sand and gravel edges on the shore, turning around and swooping into the waves in the center of the river. Set off rolling waves, sing and dance away.

I stood high by the river, looking at the school building opposite, thinking about the past and weeping. Isn't today's Hope Primary School the result of Grandpa Niuwa and thousands of martyrs throwing their heads and spilling their blood? Isn't the wide and tall school gate building exactly the hope and trust sown here by Grandpa Niuwa when he was heroic and righteous?

It was May 1928, and the communist Li Xiannian launched the earth-shattering Weihua Uprising in Gaotang. Because the enemy was outnumbered, the rebel army fought bloodily, and after several hours of fierce fighting. We have broken through the enemy's encirclement everywhere, and due to the compulsion of the situation, in order to preserve our strength and reduce the excessive casualties of our troops, our army must not break through to the jianyu pass and retreat. Grandpa Niuwa bravely killed the enemy in order to cover the troops and comrades-in-arms. Unfortunately, he was shot in many places and seriously injured. In order not to drag the comrades down, he left the only time he had for the troops and comrades, so he quietly hid in the reeds by the river. Wait until three more in the middle of the night, struggling to climb to the broken temple behind the village, the sky is still dark. It was discovered by the security regiment's search and arrest team, and then fell into the hands of the enemy.

The enemy tied him up, and on the way to Gaotang, the villagers arrived when they heard the news. Seeing that the situation was not good, Mazi, the deputy king of the security regiment, raised his pistol and shouted at the crowd: "Dodge away, who dares to stand in the way, shoot on the spot." At this time, I saw that Grandpa Niuwa was covered in blood and his face was full of wounds. He forcefully threw away the two regiments and took a step forward. A slight smile appeared on his face, and he said in a low but powerful voice: "The villagers don't have to care about me, you must live, there is hope in the future." Everyone looked at Niuwa's grandfather's heroic spirit and shouted in unison: "Niuwa is a good person, let him go." Only to see Wang Mazi's arm move, a gunshot sounded, and the old five uncles standing in the front fell down in response. Seeing this situation, Grandpa Niuwa, despite the pain in his body, yelled at Wang Mazi, "Wang Mazi, dog bastard, don't kill innocents indiscriminately, if you have a kind, you will rush me", and then he turned his head and shouted, "Don't be stupid, leave quickly, and firmly believe that the Communists cannot be killed, and the Weihua Peak fire cannot be extinguished." Only to see Wang Mazi fly up and stomp Grandpa Niuwa to the ground. Arrogant to the extreme, he cried out, "Good you are a cow and a lamb, on the verge of death, and dare to blow the communist anti-government." I saw Grandpa Niuwa struggling to get up with all his strength, shaking the blood-stained dirt on his body. Suddenly, he turned around and shouted, "Wang Mazi, Lao Tzu and you fought", the words did not fall, followed by several gunshots, the hero's cow baby grandfather fell in a pool of blood, and this gun broke the desolation and tranquility of Gaotang's early morning.

Poor man was only twenty-three years old, the third oldest in the cattle family, and the third brother of my grandfather.

The years are like arrows, and the blink of an eye is nearly a hundred years. But Grandpa always told me this unusual revolutionary story.

Whenever I stand here and see these big characters in front of the Door of Hope Primary School, I see Grandpa Niuwa, the old five uncles and the martyrs who died in the Weihua Uprising. Their heroic image is like the Standing Qinling Mountains, evergreen pines, the waters of the Jianyu River, which have been passed down from generation to generation!

I can't remember the wind and rain, the countless spring and autumn, the endless heroes, the endless songs, the darkness is gone, the years are new, and after liberation, the judgment platform for the town rebellion was built on this high slope stained red with blood by Grandpa Niuwa and the old five uncles. In 1958, a large-scale steel smelting furnace was established, a district committee was built in 1960, and in 1962 it was converted into a hope elementary school.

Today's Gaotang is even more earth-shaking, with high-speed rail and highways spanning east-west, north-south and east-west. The Weihua Monument is majestic and magnificent, like a cloud digging up. The drinking water project in Jianyu, the completion of the Qiaoyu Reservoir, the song of the hope primary school flying in the sky, and the wonderland of Xiaojiangnan in Zhuxi, are not the hopes and sustenance sown by the Weihua Uprising?

At this moment, I would like to shout" Grandpa Niuwa, the old five uncles and those martyrs who sacrificed, you are not dead, you will always live in the hearts of the party and the people!" ”
