The latest version of Zoom Poker strategy in 2022 is only one copy of the whole network

This is the only Zoom Poker strategy (and the latest edition in 2022) by a professional player.

Zoom Poker was first introduced in May 2012, and after nearly a decade of development, it has become one of the most popular poker games today.

This game of switching to another new table and opening another hand instantly after folding was actually launched on the Full Tilt Poker in 2009 (called Rush Poker), but it really became popular mainly due to the promotion of PS, and this kind of play is particularly popular in low-level games, and players ask me about speed poker every day.

At present, many big online platforms have launched their own versions of Speed Poker, and this type of game has gradually become a mainstream game, so I think it is necessary to write an article on how to play Speed Poker.

Well, less nonsense, let's get down to business!

The latest version of Zoom Poker strategy in 2022 is only one copy of the whole network

What is "Speed Poker"?

Speed Poker is fundamentally no different from traditional Poker, with big and small blinds in each hand, and the button bit is still the last position to be spoken, and flush is still stronger than Straight.

Compared to traditional Poker, the two main differences between Speed Poker are:

1. Each new hand of Poker Kerry begins after being randomly assigned a table and a seat

2. Once you have taken your seat and taken the final card, even if it is not your turn to act, you can switch to a new hand by directly clicking "Quick Fold"

These two changes not only changed the gameplay of the game, but also produced some important differences in strategy.

But before we get into the details of the differences in strategy, let's take a look at whether you can make money playing Speed Poker.

Can I make money playing Speed Poker?

In general, although the profit rate of playing Speed Poker (the number of bbs won per 100 hands played) is lower than that of Regular Poker, because you can fold cards in seconds to change tables, that is, you will play more hands, so in fact your profit will be higher.

The better profit margin in micro-level speed poker [measured by bb number] is as follows (c = cents, $= knife):

· 1c/2c - 10bb/100

· 2c/5c - 7bb/100

· 5c/10c - 6bb/100

· 10c/25c - 5bb/100

· 25c/50c - 4bb/100

· 50c/1$ - 3bb/100

One thing you should know is that the higher the level, the lower the number of bbs that can be won per 100 hands, because the higher the level, the more difficult the opponent will be to deal with.

If your profit rate does not meet the above standards, don't panic, I wrote this article to teach you how to do it, and as long as you are self-disciplined enough and willing to delve into theoretical knowledge, you are likely to earn thousands of knives a month by playing Speed Poker.

Poor information in Speed Poker

The ancient Greek philosopher Hercules Little once said, "One cannot step into the same river twice." ”

This also applies to Speed Poker, where you can't switch to the same table twice.

According to PS data, the player pool of the NL2 Knife (the lowest level of the Speed Regular Table) will generally exceed 500 people (even if it is not a peak time).

So if you're playing at a full table, you'll have to play every 55 hands to meet the same player again (500÷9≈55).

If you're playing at a 6-player table, you'll run into the same player again every 83 hands you play.

What does this mean? It's a pipe dream to say that most of the opponents you encounter at the table each time are unknown, and that with such a large player pool, you're going to rely on huddles to create reliable data or get what valid cards to read.

Take the two most basic data of VPIP and PFR, you must at least play more than 1000 innings of poker against a player before the result will rely on the dot spectrum.

The problem is, however, in Speed Poker you have to spend a long time playing more than 1,000 innings against the same player, after all, you can only meet the same player again every 55 hands when the table is full (every 83 cards for a 6-player table).

The lack of information is good and bad

When playing at extreme speed, there is a lack of information for everyone, so we can use this early to play more aggressively, which is also the "first hand-to-hand theory" that I mentioned in Modern Micro-Level Strategy.

The main basis for this philosophy is:

"Without any history of confrontation, what you do to someone is often easy to get away with."

Many people accept the concept of playing tightly and having a certain amount of observation before they shoot, so most of the time they will only use good cards to enter the game.

Many people will not only adhere to this concept themselves, but also presuppose in advance that the opponent is also taking the fierce route, so when you come one step ahead of others, the profit is very large.

In the first round of cards you play, few people will guess that you are doing 4-bet bluffing or doing bluffing in the river deck, right? So unless your opponent is holding a super monster card, he will most likely give you the pot.

So one way to increase profits in speed games is to do more bluffing when both sides are still relatively new to each other (Daniel Negreanu mentioned this in his recently released advanced strategy).

This is also a clear point for many professional players, that is, the best time to do big bluffing is actually when there is a great lack of information and there is no history of confrontation.

Of course, the lack of information must have disadvantages, after all, many people call this game "information war", especially in online games, online games are different from offline, you can't see the limbs, and the speed of action is very fast (especially in speed poker), at this time we can often only rely on the data provided by software such as HUD to interpret the opponent's playing style.

Once you're out of the way, it's hard to tell what your opponent's 3-bet, pass-over-raise, or river bet really means.

Some people think that it would be better without the support of data, so that everyone is back on the same starting line, but the problem is that when you choose a certain strategy, if this strategy does not have any clear reason as a support, then the impact of technical advantages in this game is invisibly largely ineffective.

In fact, the lack of information is also one of the reasons why your profit margin in Speed Poker is lower than that of regular poker.

Another bad thing about the lack of information is that it is difficult for you to judge who is a fish at the table, and the bad thing about playing speed poker is that you can't choose the table freely, because you can't choose the table independently and because of the lack of information, you can't tell who is the fish (the characteristic is that there are too many people who enter the game and give up their lives to play the cards), so your technical advantage is difficult to play.

But that's not to say that we're completely helpless, in fact, as long as the strategy is right, we sometimes make more money in speed games than in regular poker, like me, so here I will talk to you about some of the more useful speed poker strategies.

How do I make a profit in Speed Poker?

Everyone should have found that the player range in speed games is generally tighter than that in normal speed games, and some people even call speed tables "tight caves" or "frequent player gathering places" and the like.

Because of the option of quick folding, speed games naturally attract many regular players who play multiple tables.

Because you can quickly fold cards, you can discard one hand after another at lightning speed until you get the power of the cards that can be entered, which means that you don't have to wait for a round of cards to get a new hole card like in the constant speed game, so in general, everyone's range will be tighter, coupled with the frequent change of tables leading to a lack of information, so everyone can play tightly without being detected by the opponent.

Some people think that the invention of the "quick fold" function even invisibly helped entertain players, making them play better because of objective factors.

The biggest reason why fish lose so much is that they often enter the game with bad cards and often get into the quagmire, and the reason why they play bad cards is largely because "waiting for good cards is too boring", but since the option of "quick fold", almost no one will be bored anymore!

Entertainment players will still do things like enter the game with a weak Ax in a disadvantageous position, or overestimate the value of trouble cards like KJ/QJ, but pure garbage cards like 85o, J7o, T3s are no longer in their range.

Choosing to discard this kind of pure garbage actually saved their loss rate to a large extent.

In the long run, these people are still the biggest losers in the game, but they don't lose money as fast as they did in normal speed games before.

But that's not entirely a bad thing!

Yes, the players in the speed game are tight, even the players in the NL2, NL5 or NL10 micro-level games are no exception, even the fish are playing better than before, but even so, this kind of game that almost everyone plays tightly is still exploitative space, but the way it is used is not the same.

Playing low-level games has a big advantage, that is, most regular players are basically novices, and many of them are biased towards ABC, which means that they are basically reading the script, how they say in the book, and there are few unexpected moves or "operations".

Since most of them play cards at multiple tables, they can't adjust to deal with loose players very well.

These people generally only play cards according to the strength of the cards in their hands, until they encounter an opponent who is too loose to make them suffer a big loss.

As for those entertainment players, although they play tighter in the speed game, they still can't change the true color of their fish, no matter what level it is, playing badly is playing badly.

So the key to exploitation in speed games is: play LAG style.

As far as the current game environment is concerned, the loose and fierce play method can already make us a lot of money in the ordinary speed game, and the effect of using the speed game is even worse, and it is simply crushing the opponent when playing.

So how to get this LAG style to actually operate?

1, more stealing blindness

The profit of stealing blindness when the opponent's range is too tight is higher.

This means that when we play low-level extreme poker, we can relax our starting range at each position, in short, play more hands.

The number of opening rounds is adjusted to 2.5bb or even a minimum raise, in order to reduce the cost of entering the game with speculative cards.

2. Increase the frequency of reverse addition before turning

The same can be done with 3-bets and 4-bets, and if most players fold quickly unless they take a nut card to enter, you should increase the frequency of your own counter-additions to exploit this vulnerability. If you're using HUD, the first thing to look at is the opponent's fold rate against 3-bet and 4-bet.

In addition, another feature of speed poker is that there will be less consideration time than normal speed poker, which is known to everyone, so for frequent players who open multiple tables, their energy is also dispersed to other tables, so after adding them, they usually choose to fold, unless they are holding monster cards such as AA, KK, QQ or AKs, they will choose to "wait for a better time".

3. Increase the frequency of the flat heel before turning over and then steal the pool after turning over

But increasing the frequency of counter-addition doesn't mean that we're always using weak cards to go to 3-bet or 4-bet.

One of my favorite ways to steal a pool is to use a wider range of flat heels before turning over, especially when in a favorable position, and then stealing more when you find that your opponent is weak after turning over.

How does it work?

● When the flop circle has the strength of the card but any win rate, choose float, and then the opponent chooses to bet 100% as soon as the card is passed

● Increase the rate of flop rings with listening cards, pairs and even two high cards

● Increase the bluff rate of the River Deck, especially when firing thriller cards (i.e. cards that are good for Takashi, Straights, and Flush)

Although it is always caught from time to time, this method is used to deal with frequent players who open multiple tables in low-level games, and the chance of success is often higher than the number of times they are caught.

Why play Speed Poker?

First of all, it is more convenient than constant speed poker, although it is easier to play constant speed we find fish, but also to choose the right seat, but these are to spend effort and time, many people play cards is to have fun, or make a little money, simply do not want to waste time in picking a table or looking for fish, they just want to sit down and do it, and speed poker can meet this demand, do not have to wait for the big blind position to issue cards, very time-saving and labor-saving.

Secondly, playing Speed Poker can accumulate a large number of hands in a short period of time, and the number of cards per hour is comparable to 3.5 times that of the regular speed table, if you play multiple tables, this amount is even greater.

For a player who does grinder in low-level games, speed poker allows you to see the so-called long-term results in a shorter period of time, that is, you can recognize your own weight more quickly, so as to more quickly identify the shortcomings of your own playing style and improve them, without having to wait for months or even a year like playing regular speed poker to know whether you have the ability to make money by playing cards.

Case studies

The following instances are all 100bb in size, and the opponent type: Tight Man, TAG, or Fish TAG.

== Hand 1 ==

Flipping forward tights started with the BTN level, and I got 87 in the big blind position.

Here I should choose 3-bet, because this is the kind of situation I mentioned above that we can exploit the opponent to fight tightly and weakly, in which case we can relax the scope of the 3-bet and take advantage of the lack of information to play cover.

The range of button bits in speed games is generally very wide, usually 30% of the hand type, sometimes even higher, so such a range is usually unable to withstand the 3-bet.

Get 87s in the big blind position, choose call or 3-bet, most of the time you can choose to call, but sometimes you can also take advantage of the speed game opponent play tighter this point to play more aggressively, after all, the opponent is likely to be a person who opens multiple tables to stick to the ABC game, so the success rate after 3-bet will be relatively high.

== Hand 2 ==

I start with A3 at the CO bit and tag at the button bit 3-bet, what should I do here?

Choose 4-bet.

This situation is also the situation that I said above that we can relax the 4-bet range, especially when we know very little about each other, because there is not much information, so the opponent can not guess that we are bluffing, after all, most players in low-level games basically do not do 4-bet bluffing, this kind of flush AX for 4-bet bluffing is too suitable, they contain AA barrier cards, so the opponent has a lower chance of holding AA.

Even if they are called, they have the potential to develop into straights or nuts with flowers, and even if they encounter KK, QQ or JJ, TT, their win rate is still about 30%!

Therefore, instead of choosing to fold, it is better to choose 4-bet to force the opponent away, but the call is enough, and it is difficult to play with this hand call in an unfavorable position.

Of course, my advice on 4-bet bluffing is not to do it every time, but only that you should consider using this 4-bet scare from time to time.

== Hand 3 ==

Fish TAG starts with the MP level and I call with A8 at the BTN level.

Flop 359, opponent c-bet, what do I do with it?

Select Call.

This is the case mentioned above that the turn before using a wide range to enter the game, after the turn to take the opportunity to steal the pool from the opponent.

In this round, we called the fish TAG in the BTN position, and we didn't have to add all day to get the same-flush AX, especially the opponent's opening bet in the front or middle position, and we had to respect the actions of others in these positions.

However, many TTags in low-level games have a problem, that is, although the flop will c-bet, the frequency of the transfer card continues to bet is not high.

This feature is something that many low-level gamers will have, so in this case we can flop flot, and if the opponent crosses the card, we can reverse the active bet to steal the pool.

However, when doing so, your card strength must at least have some win rate, you can't bet with pure garbage, if you are called by the other side, then your cards can still survive a little, which is why in this example I chose to flop with AXs with backdoor flower listening cards for flops.

If we can directly succeed in stealing the pool, of course, if not, then once we are lucky enough to win the card, it is very likely that we will win a big pot!

conclusion

Speed Poker is still a relatively new battlefield, and many people are still trying to work on the best way to play in this area and have not yet overcome the problem.

However, because players play more tightly, so compared to regular speed poker, our profit rate, that is, the number of bbs won per 100 hands is not high, but the profit rate is not equal to the actual profit, because we can play a lot of hands at a high speed, the sample size is easy to accumulate to a very high number, so even if the profit rate is not high, the actual profit can be more.

For people who usually don't have much time to play cards, have work and family affairs, and don't want to spend too much energy chasing fish, speed poker will be a more suitable new track, and the loose and fierce gameplay will be very suitable for dealing with opponents who open multiple tables and know very little about each other.

In short, I can't pack tickets to say that this article will definitely help all players, but some of the suggestions of the above content should be able to give everyone a deeper understanding of Speed Poker and improve everyone's profit margin in Speed Game!

Well, today's content is talked about here, thanks for reading, I wish you all good luck at the poker table!
