For more than a decade, Klaus-Steebrunko has been one of the top German pigeon racing masters. The house houses a large number of club, regional and all-German champions. Since 2012 he has been racing under the name of Steebling Colivmo, continuing his record of winning the title.

The Three Musketeers: Mark Livmo, Mark Steblingko and Core Klaus Steeblinko

Klaus Steinbrunko firmly believes that there are no shortcuts in pigeon racing, and only dedication can be exchanged for success!

Two young men, Mark Livmo and Mark Steblingko, were Klaus's right and left arms. With the assistance of two young men, their loft has received numerous accolades.

These are their results in the last decade or so, and I believe many fanciers would like to achieve such an accolade as well.

The basic pedigree in their house comes from Hadicolrug, Domen, Schall and Diohut, and after these bloodline pigeons are cross-bred, they slowly form their own bloodlines that have played well all the way. At the same time, in order to continuously improve the existing results, they also continue to introduce good racing pigeons of good breeding blood for hybridization.

  1. My results this year are not very good, should I bring in some ace pigeons or pigeons, Klaus, can you give me some advice?

Klaus: You have to think about it, study your loft, your domestication, your training, and so on, to see what the problem is. A lot of times the problem is not with the pigeons.

  2. How did you do it in the first place? Is everything implemented as planned?

Klaus: Well, in a way it is! Lazy people can't really succeed. First of all, we must choose a good pigeon, choose a group of good results, and test the quality of these pigeons by racing and then racing, and the unsatisfactory results must be rationally screened. If you do this or not, you have to think carefully about what the crux of the matter is. You have to be patient and have some luck at the same time, and you can only succeed if you really screen the best pigeons. Having good breeding pigeons and breeding excellent racing pigeons is also inseparable from scientific and rational domestication, and you can only succeed if all the conditions are met. Successful fanciers must be patient!

  3. For you, pigeon racing is just a hobby, but will the tedious tasks involved in pigeon racing cause you some pressure?

Klaus: I am a big fan of pigeon racing. I have about 60 racing pigeons (completely widowed), breeders and youngsters in my house. Of course it takes more time to take care of them, but it doesn't put any pressure on me, on the contrary, it is the best way for me to decompress after work and devote myself to pigeon racing!

  4. Also as a hobby, why do I sometimes feel that pigeon racing will bring me a certain amount of pressure? How can I adjust my mindset?

Klaus: That's what it's like for young people right now. You are faced with many choices, and in the face of these choices, why did you finally choose pigeon racing as your personal hobby? Young friends who choose pigeons as their hobby, I would like to tell you that you have to think clearly that the pigeons and the owners are somehow one and the same, you have to trust your pigeon team, without them you simply cannot win! Some pigeon owners disqualify a pigeon during the race if they feel that it is not doing well. On the contrary, I will never do it, and I believe that if you give them a chance, they will definitely bring you back.

  5. Klaus, what do you think of failure in pigeon racing?

Klaus: When faced with failure, you have to think for yourself, and many times the key to success or failure is in front of you, but you just don't notice. Only if you discover this key, grasp it or change it, and soon you will be on the road to success.
