As you can see from the figure, M.2 SSDs can run as separate logical volume groups.

▲ Because Wanyu's OS is separate from the mounted hard disk, it can be understood that Wanyu's NAS is a small system that can run even if it is not installed with a hard disk, and after mounting the hard disk, creating a volume group and establishing a logical volume means that it can be used as a LAN cloud.
After creating a volume group, we need to create a "logical volume".

Easily mount and share NTFS-formatted drives with the HS-401P
▲ The OS of the NAS mainly relies on open source Linux, so it has not been able to mount the NTFS hard disk commonly used by the win10 / win11 system perfectly, resulting in the two hard disks can not be perfectly universal, but this time WANYU OS 5 can easily mount and share the NTFS format hard disk without loss.
After loading the NTFS hard disk into the HS-401P, click "Control Center" - "Shared Folder" - "External Hard Disk Folder" to see the mounted NTFS format hard disk, click "Mount".

By mounting the NTFS format hard disk, we can temporarily move the hard disk on the computer that does not have enough storage space to the Wanyu NAS, and share the data on the LAN without loss, so as to realize the lossless expansion and sharing of the computer hard disk capacity and data.
LAN speed measurement
▲ After mapping all the logical volumes shared by the HS-401P to the computer, we can operate them the way we normally operate the computer's hard disk. This also makes it possible to measure speed.
▲ Next, I tested the shared network speed of the M.2 NVMe disk. Use crystal Disk Mark to locate the test location on the HS-401P's M.2 NVMe disk and test with a continuous file project.
