From 2018 to 2021, a total of 239 key projects for ecological environment governance and protection were implemented in the Baiyangdian River Basin. The new area banned 13,700 "scattered pollution" enterprises, dynamically cleared zero, and more than 13,000 illegal sewage outlets were all banned and blocked. Aquaculture and large-scale livestock and poultry farms in Xiong'an New Area have all been withdrawn, and 576 rural domestic sewage treatment has been fully covered.
