According to the content of the bidding announcement of the Binhai Express (Fuzhou to Changle Airport Intercity Railway Project) Vehicle Procurement Project, Fujian Bidding Center Co., Ltd. was entrusted by Fuzhou Metro Group Co., Ltd. to conduct a domestic public bidding for goods and services under the "Binhai Express (Fuzhou to Changle Airport Intercity Railway Project) Vehicle Procurement Project".

The Intercity Railway Project from Fuzhou to Changle Airport adopts urban A-type vehicles, with an initial 4-car group, and gradually transitions to a 6-car group in the near and long term according to the changes in passenger flow growth, the power supply system is AC25kV, and the maximum operating speed of the line design is 140km/h. The initial number of vehicles was 30 trains/120 vehicles, and the grouping mode was 3 movements, 1 tow and 4 car groups. The bidder has implemented the vehicle procurement purchase funds, which will effectively ensure the smooth implementation of the contracts under this project.

The first train of the Binhai Express (Fuzhou to Changle Airport Intercity Railway Project) is scheduled to be delivered in August 2023 (tentative), and all 30 trains will be delivered before the full line opens. The bidder has the right to make corresponding adjustments to the above time according to the actual needs of the project, and to notify the successful bidder in a timely manner, subject to the requirements of the bidder.

The maximum limit price of this project is 1167.6 million yuan (capitalized 100 million yuan), of which the maximum limit price of the vehicle procurement project is more than 948 million yuan, the comprehensive unit price is 7.9 million yuan / vehicle, the vehicle traction system is 219.6 million yuan, and the comprehensive unit price is 1.83 million yuan / vehicle.
