Kyo machiko (京町子, Kyo Machiko) (March 25, 1924 – May 12, 2019), real name Motoko Yano, was a Japanese actress born in Osaka. Kyomachi is a traditional Japanese singer and dancer who has also appeared in numerous films, TELEVISION series, and stage plays.

Kyomachi joined the Osaka Shochiku Opera Company as an actress in 1942, and in 1949 joined daiei Film Company to start filmmaking, becoming the signature of Ōei Pictures along with Fumiko Wakao and Fujiko Yamamoto. Kyomachiko became an international star in 1950 as the female lead in Akira Kurosawa's famous work Rashomon.
