Nets veteran Patty Mills was reportedly nominated for the 2021-22 NBA Sportsmanship Award, which recognizes the players who best represent sportsmanship on the court.
There are currently six finalists, the finalists nominated by a panel of league executives from 30 teams. Mills is a finalist in the Atlantic Division, and the final winning candidate will be voted by nearly 350 players in the league.
On the other hand, Ben Simmons still suffered a lot of controversy after being sent to the Nets, especially the relationship between him and former teammate Joel Embiid has become a hot topic.
Compared to Ben Simmons, who is still recovering from injury, Joel Embiid has played at the level of MVP in the regular season, and the latter has talked more about the relationship in front of the media. In an interview with the US media ChristIs Mannix, Embiid talked about Ben Simmons again and said that he still did not mind being friends with Simmons:
From this point of view, Embiid and Simmons did not have any grudges before, of course, for Nets fans, they are definitely more looking forward to seeing Ben Simmons' appearance.
Finally, it should be mentioned that nets superstar Kevin Durant is arguably one of the most active players in the league on social media. Recently, some netizens pulled out Durant's personal profile on the social networking site MySpace in his early years:
Durant replied:
"This is what my cousin Tia and I wrote in 2003."
Even though social media seems to be Kevin Durant's main entertainment, Durant is still focused on leading the Nets forward.
