Intel announced that their AI supersampling technology XeSS will be launched earlier this summer, and foreign media had expected to see XeSS in the recently released PC version of Death Stranding: Director's Cut Edition, but the developers said they could only add it in future updates. It looks like it will be a while to wait.
The good news, though, is that the lineup of intel XeSS-enabled games is expanding, and now there are a lot more, including indie games, AAA games, and AAA games:
Tomb Raider: Shadow
Super Touring Car Race: Legends
Ghost Line: Tokyo
Death Stranding: Director's Cut
Vampires: Blood Hunt
Harmony
《Arcadegeddon》
"Workers' Tales"
Killer 3
《Dolmen》
《Super People》
Chivalry 2
"Enlistment"
Galaxy Breaker
《Anvil》
In addition, the Intel XeSS website also has PUBG Studios and Techland logos, suggesting that PUBG and Fading Light 2 will also support XeSS. It should be noted that almost all of the above games support Nvidia's DLSS.
Unlike DLSS and AMD's FSR, Intel XeSS has five quality modes (DLSS and FSR are both four), namely Super Performance (3.0x Scaling Factor), Performance (2.0), Balanced (1.7), Quality (1.5), and Super Quality (1.3).
Intel Xess supports cross-platform, in addition to Intel's own ARC Sharp Graphics, it also supports AMD and NVIDIA graphics.
