Developer Turtle Rock Studios has announced that Revenge of blood will launch its first major DLC expansion on April 12. Expansion Packs are included in the Ultimate Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Annual Pass, and players who purchase the Standard Edition of the game will be able to purchase them separately.
Meanwhile, the game's publisher, Warner Bros., announced that the game has surpassed 10 million players since its release in October.
The expansion pack adds a new PvE co-op mission, as well as new playable characters and mutants.
The new map allows up to 4 players to explore the depths of Evansburgh, with 7 different dungeons filled with labyrinth tunnels with new mutants.
The DLC also includes two new playable characters — Sharice is a firefighter with an axe and Heng is an "iron-hearted, serious restaurateur."
It also includes 8 new character skins, 7 new legendary weapons, 12 new weapon skins and new cards.
As long as at least one player on the team has purchased the expansion pack, all players on the team will be able to access their new content.
There will also be a free update, including a new Desperate Difficulty.
