Editor's note: On April 20, 2021, the Sichuan Provincial Local History Work Office issued the Notice on Doing a Good Job in excavating and sorting out the historical materials of the "Five Elders" and publicizing and helping the study and education of Party history (Chuan Zhihan [2021] No. 29). In response to this initiative, Comrade Wang Yi responded positively and launched the book "Twenty Years of Me and Local History". The book is written by Wang Yi and edited by the Sichuan Local History Work Office, with about 300,000 words and 120 pictures. The pictures and texts complement each other and complement each other, recording the author's 20-year journey in local history work, showing his revision pattern and Fangzhi cultural vision.
The book "Twenty Years of Me and local history" is divided into four parts: catalogue, narrative, writing, and review by critics. The catalogue includes donations from the "Wang Yi Literature Special Collection", curatorial exhibition of "Fang Zhi China", writing achievements, editorial achievements, achievements in the use of zhi, character promotion, exhibition of Local History Achievements in China, Exhibition of Newly Compiled Local History Achievements in Sichuan Province, Academic Activities, 15 units of Helping "Regulations", Work Traces, Honorary Certificates, ZhiDao Friendship, Cross-Strait Exchanges, and "Songs of Local Chronicle Workers", which record the 20 years of the author and local history; the narrative reviews and interprets the contents of the catalogue; the works are divided into "Fang Zhi Film and Television", "Zhishu Review", "Zhishu Review", "Zhizhi Literature Review", "Zhishu Review", "Zhizhi Literature Seven series, namely Fang Zhi Man Tan Tan, Shi Zhi Wen Cong, Fang Zhi Poetry, and Fang Zhi Guan Construction, present the author's creative achievements; "Critics' Collection" compiles a group of comments by Fang Jia on Wang Yi's "Fang Zhi Sichuan".
The book "Twenty Years of Me and Local History" shows the cultural characteristics of Fang zhi, which involves a wide range of contents and has high historical value, which is conducive to the construction of "local history library". Its summary method has a certain representativeness in Fang Zhijie. To this end, the "Fangzhi Sichuan" new media matrix and the Sichuan Provincial Intelligence Network specially released part of the "Narrative" part of the book and accompanied by pictures to entertain readers.

On April 20, 2021, the Sichuan Provincial Local History Work Office issued the Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Excavation and Collation of the "Five Elders" Historical Materials and Publicizing to Help the Study and Education of Party History. I have responded positively to this initiative, with the intention of leaving some historical materials of certain value and throwing bricks and stones to enrich the "local history library".
In the Sichuan cultivation circle, although I am not one of the "five elders" and cannot say that I have made any special achievements in the theory of local history, I am a "veteran" who has been honed for 20 years, participating in and witnessing an unforgettable process of cultivation and having several experiences, including the classic understanding of Sima Qian's "investigation of heaven and human relations, changes through ancient and modern times, and the words of a family". Indeed, China's local history has a long history and has been passed down from generation to generation. There is no need to say such lofty aphorisms as "forgetting the past means betrayal", nor is there any need to say such a relative whisper as "let the heart return to zero" and "let the past go with the wind". However, objectively speaking, in the era pattern in which Fang Zhijie places his own workplace review in the context of cultivation through graphics and text, there are few people who make a more systematic summary. Although the objective reasons can be listed, experiences, patterns and feelings are a crucial link. Among fellow practitioners of friendship, the "Me and the Local Chronicle" that enters my field of vision is often a collection of published personal essays or monographs or a collection of work (speeches). The crystallization of his painstaking efforts and wisdom is tantamount to adding bricks and tiles to the construction of the Local History Building; the expression of his feelings of "a piece of ice in a jade pot" is undoubtedly an auspicious cloud in the beautiful sky of the Local History.
The local chronicle is "the actual record of Yiyi", "the whole history of one party", and "the grand view of Yiyi", so the ancients had feelings such as "those who rule the world take history as a mirror; those who govern the county and the country take Zhi as a reference" and so on. Yes, the local history is ancient and modern, and it fills me with awe. Although I have been "changing course" from the cultural department for 20 years, I am well aware that there is still a gap in the pursuit of the bottom, whether in the history of local history, but also in other research and extensive research. Despite this, I happily edited the book "Twenty Years of Me and the Local Chronicle". "Under the King of Mencius Liang Hui" has the sentence "Solo music, it is better to enjoy the music of all", which expresses a kind of bosom and yunshui demeanor. I hope that this book can leave a mark of "grasping the iron and leaving traces" for the development history of Sichuan Xinfangzhi, and has the effect of "all the music" and the sharing value. Its exploration significance, I think that not only can I touch the bypass, but also open the window of cultivation in my soul, open up a corner of my cultivation pattern, and draw a symbol belonging to "I am for me, I am in my heart" for my career and mental journey. This symbol may be the hot pot "hot bonsai", spicy and sweet, five flavors and miscellaneous. Presenting this "hot bonsai" that has been refined for 20 years, and taking a bunch of "steaming heat" to enrich the taste buds of the same people, and benefiting one of the cultivation causes that I have paid for and loved, this is my original intention of abandoning the foresight and making up my mind to compile and print this book.
