Chen Chengda was born in 1929, and sports were not taken seriously in that era. When Chen Chengda entered his adolescence, the invasion of the Japanese Kou caused the mountains and rivers to be broken, and engaging in sports was even more extravagant for most people. Despite this, Chen Chengda insisted on his football dreams, and at the age of 10, he began to appear in seven-a-side football matches, and gradually grew into an 11-a-side football player. On the eve of the founding of new China, Chen Chengda was admitted to St. John's University and became an architecture student.
