"ONE:X" Phase II Preview: Two Championship Battles Lead, Tang Kai Attack Championship Challenge!

The internationally renowned sport IP-ONE Championships will feature the "ONE:X" 10th Anniversary Commemorative Event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday 26 March. The second stage will be live on time at 5pm on Saturday, with two World Championship matches and a title challenge battle between Badmintonweight China's Tang Kai and Kim Jae Woon.

The headline main event of the second stage of the "ONE:X" event was a weweight Muay Thai World Championship, challenged by defending champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao to meet the challenge of Brazilian "demolitionist" Felipe Lobo. This is nong's fifth world title defense, and so far he has played a glorious record of seven consecutive wins in the ONE Championship, including one title battle and four defending the title, which is currently one of the most dominant champions in the ONE Championship.

Prior to this, Nong Ao also won two major boxing championships, Lun pini and Canaan Long, of which 135 lbs/61 KG, 130 lbs/59 KG, 126 lbs/57 KG and 122 lbs/56 KG were all won in Lumpini. He has also been voted the Boxer of the Year by Lumpini and the Thai Sports Bureau many times, and is a well-deserved King of Muay Thai, who has also been called a "living legend". Facing the strong challenge of Brazilian "demolition worker" Felipe this time, whether he can defend his title again and continue his legendary career is very exciting.

The joint main event of the second phase of "ONE:X" was also a high-profile world championship match, against the young welterweight world champion Capitan Petchyindee Academy and challenger Hiroki Akimoto.

Kapitan entered the ONE Championship with titles such as Lumpini and WPMF and a record of 13 consecutive wins, and in his debut, he shocked the world with the famous Muay Thai fighter Petchtanong petchfergus in just 6 seconds, and in January 2021 he defeated the Russian "shortsword" Alaverdi Ramazanov to win the world championship, and in September of the same year, he defeated Mehdi Zatout) defended his title for the first time.

Now Kapitan will be challenged by Japan's karate world champion Haogui Akimoto, a match that has been widely watched by Chinese boxing fans because Akimoto Haogui won the right to challenge the championship by defeating The Chinese kickboxing leader Qiu Jianliang.

Prior to that, Akimoto had won the WBC Muay Thai Japan Championship, the two-time KWF Karate Grand Prix and the WFKO Karate World Champion. In Akimoto's 14-year career, he has lost only one game, with a record of 21 consecutive wins. After defeating Qiu Jianliang, Akimoto's professional record has been refreshed to 25 wins and 1 loss, 10 times (T) KO opponents, becoming a world champion challenger, he deserves it.

The above two world championship battles are full of gold, but in the second stage of the competition, the most anticipated by Chinese boxing fans is the world championship challenge battle between Tang Kai and Jin Juxiong. Tang Kai is the first male mixed martial artist in China to enter the official ranking of the ONE Championship, and has achieved a record of 5 wins in the ONE Championship so far, and the last two matches have been KO opponents in the first round, with this performance Tang Kai ranked fourth in the featherweight and won the opportunity to challenge the first person in the featherweight world ranking, Jin Juxiong.

Kim won 3-1 in the ONE Championship, but he ko-koed former double champion Martin Nguyen in one leg of his last match to jump to the top of the featherweights. Like Tang Kai, Kim is also a stand-up strike master with a very high KO rate, so the two-man match is also widely regarded as the potential stock of the best match of the night.

Before the match, Chatri Sityodtong, chairman and CEO of the ONE Championship, also made it clear that if Tang Kai can defeat Jin Juxiong, he will give him the right to challenge the championship, and he also praised Tang Kai as the next Chinese superstar. And the premise of all this is that Tang Kai must win this key victory in the "ONE:X" game.
