It is not only Xu Qingyuan who participated in the investigation of the "three-eyed prodigy incident", Shen Yanchuan also arranged a helper for us, the new investigator Qiu Wu. Although he was a newcomer, Qiu Wu's acceptance of the supernatural event was very high, which surprised our Xu Daochang.

Don't look at just one more actionable character, Qiu Wu's addition makes the whole investigation process a lot smoother, and does not make the player feel that the protagonist is a person who is extremely active and likes to talk to himself. And the two are investigating at the same time, and when they find problems, they exchange information with each other, and even have completely different views on the same thing.

The second point is that the atmosphere of the game is very good. What players want in horror games is that sense of fear, but the source of fear can be sudden fright, or something that makes people think about it.
The former is when you reach out to touch something that you obviously feel is wrong, and suddenly a ghost hand grabs your wrist, that is, jumpscare; the latter is when you suddenly find that something you are accustomed to has become wrong, but you can't say what is wrong, and by the time you realize the weirdness, it's too late.
Personally, I prefer this feeling of extreme fear, because jumpscare does not know whether you are afraid of instinctive reactions or mental fear, and thinking about extremely frightening things, even if there is no scary thing in the picture, will make people feel cold in their backs. So I think that horror games that can scare players themselves are good horror games.
It is precisely because of this that I have such a high evaluation of "Three Volts".

Let's first analyze the elements of the picture according to the scary idea of the general horror game: first of all, although the time is late afternoon, the light is not very dark, and the fright point may be inside the dim gate or the window on the first floor; the public telephone is very interesting, but it has just been ringing, not the strange telephone in "Sadako"; the trees and railings in the distance of the picture are deliberately made, and something may suddenly move.
In fact, the fear here comes from the dog. When we investigated or noticed the weird stuff in this scene, the dog didn't react much. When you get used to its existence and finish deciphering it, it will bark at the empty place and tell you that something is wrong with the place.
Most of the scary things about "Three Volts" are like this, such as the supernatural events mentioned above when watching the advertising video, and the dog barking mentioned here.
You know that horror games are scary, and you always pay attention to places that look weird and even may be scary, but in Three Volts, it's often the places you're used to that start to get wrong, which is a great way to deal with horror elements.
The conductor who refuses to turn around didn't face you in the trial. A sudden twist with the sound effects can complete a fright, but "Three Volts" is not designed that way
To sum up, this trial of "Three Volts" really exceeded my expectations, originally I thought that as long as it can reach the same level as "Fireworks", the game will be successful, and a one-hour trial will not show too many highlights. But the game, whether it is the multi-protagonist system or the shaping of the entire atmosphere, makes me feel bright.
It can be said that this demo is the best advertisement for "Three Volts", the first chapter of the game in Xu Qingyuan and Qiu Wu two formal meeting, the discovery of the hidden secrets of the video hall, and the first case of the "Three-Eyed Child Incident" was discovered at this point in time, which made me shocked that the whole event unfolded in such a form, and I wanted to know the follow-up plot development.
