Recently, the new third-generation Roewe RX5 released the official appearance rendering again after announcing the declaration map of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and related product information, highlighting the visual impact and avant-garde design of the car. The new car has a length, width and height of 4655*1890*1655mm (1664mm for additional luggage racks) and a wheelbase of 2765mm, an increase of 57mm over the previous generation.
In terms of appearance, the new headlights group adopts the popular through-channel design, and blue lights are set at both ends to enhance visual beauty. The shape of the middle net is inspired by the phoenix and has the momentum of flying. The upper waist line on the side of the body is straight, and the lower waist line is a curve, which adds a three-dimensional and changeable visual effect. The doors feature concealed door handles. The new car is available in 4 different rim designs and is available in 18, 19, and 20-inch tire sizes.
In the rear part, the through-type taillights echo the headlights group, and the brake light part has a gray decoration. There is a split spoiler on the top, an inverted trapezoidal exhaust port on the left and right of the bottom, and a bottom spoiler that echoes the upper spoiler. Presumably, the official interior drawing of the new car will be released before the Beijing Auto Show.
According to past sources, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T engine model 15FDE, with a power of 138 kW (about 188 hp) and a maximum speed of 190 km/h. Although the transmission information has not yet been announced, we speculate that it may be equipped with a 7-speed wet DCT transmission independently developed by Roewe.
