Previously, some people used the name of the movie "The Wandering Earth 2" to publish false financing information without authorization.
The producers of "The Wandering Earth 2", China Film Co., Ltd., Guo Fan (Beijing) Film Co., Ltd., and Beijing Dengfeng International Culture Communication Co., Ltd., issued a joint statement on December 6, 2021, saying that some people had taken advantage of the film "The Wandering Earth 2" to publish false financing information without authorization, and the film producer had never and had no plans to carry out the "Wandering Earth 2" project financing business through any public channels such as websites, Weibo, WeChat public accounts, WeChat circle of friends, or entrusted any institution or natural person to carry out the "Wandering Earth 2" project financing business.
The statement said that no enterprise or individual may fraudulently use the name of the producer or publish the financing information of the "Wandering Earth 2" project without authorization in the name of the investor or producer of "Wandering Earth 2", and these illegal acts have nothing to do with the producer, and once the above-mentioned acts are discovered, the producer reserves the right to pursue its legal responsibility according to law.
