The Evening Standard reported that since Wembley Stadium was used to host the Women's European Championship final, the FA was looking for another venue for the Community Shield.

Negotiations are still ongoing, but Arsenal and The London Stadium are open to hosting the event. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host a concert by Lady Gaga, so it withdrew from the competition.

In the news, the Evening Standard said that the community shield may interrupt the plan for the Chiefs Cup, which is temporarily scheduled for the same week.

If both the Emirates Cup and the Community Shield are scheduled to be held at the Emirates Stadium, the Emirates Cup could turn into a one-day event (including women's and men's) that would initially be a two-day mini-event.

Arsenal fans may have mixed feelings about the Emirates Stadium hosting the Community Shield.

On the one hand, hosting the tournament allows the club to receive a lump sum of income to strengthen the squad. On the other hand, this will give opponents the opportunity to win a cup at the Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool or Manchester City could play in the Community Shield as Premier League champions and Chelsea could play through the FA Cup.

Neither Manchester United nor Tottenham Hotspur have a chance to qualify for this competition. Of course, you never know what's going to happen in the cup. There is still a possibility that non-big six teams will play.

For example, if the Community Shield ends up between Manchester City and Southampton, Arsenal fans shouldn't care too much about who wins.
