Adapted from Alice Oseman's comic book, the 8-episode youth school-themed new drama "Heartbeat Misses a Beat" will be launched on Netflix on April 22, with each episode about half an hour.
The story is about Nick and Charlie, who attend a boys' grammar school: Charlie is openly gay, sensitive and always thinks too much; Nick is a sunny, soft-hearted rugby player.
On one occasion the two were arranged to sit together and soon became friends, and soon after Charlie fell in love with Nick, even though he didn't feel he had a chance.
But love always works in unexpected ways, and Nick's interest in Charlie is much greater than the two of them imagined.
