Yu Danqin had worked in the organ for a long time, but he did not give up his pursuit of the muse because of the busyness of his work. The collection of novels published this time, "Dark Fragrance", includes 14 novellas and short stories published in pure literary publications such as Xiangjiang Literature and Art, Hunan Literature, Yanhe, Yellow River, Three Gorges Literature, Chinese Campus Literature, and Xuelian in recent years. These novels use historical and concrete life pictures to reflect social life, and describe the truth in detail, so that readers can be immersed in the scene and see their people; At the same time, the work selects, refines and summarizes the materials of real life, profoundly reveals the essential characteristics of life, and fully reflects the author's ideological tendency and love and hatred feelings in the scene description and plot narrative of the work, and has a strong readability.
"Mountain Range" is a novel set in the "Pingjiang Massacre". The novel tells the story of a 10-year-old teenager, with the instructions of his father before his sacrifice, and several friends who usually play with him, the children of guerrillas, and begin a special journey of starry night. Along the way, they wrestle with the Kuomintang agents and Japanese devils who are stalking and hunting down; After fighting against the floods and beasts of nature, and going through hardships and obstacles, a secret list of Communist Party members was finally safely delivered to the head of the Party organization.
Asked why he wrote such a novel, Yu Danqin said that now the teenagers in the city have good academic performance and are still learning skills such as drawing, playing the piano, dancing, and singing in various special classes; But once they enter nature, they become idiots, weak willed, physically weakened, and have little understanding of nature. Therefore, in the process of advancing the story and plot, the novel does not consider too much about the ups and downs and suspense of the story, but introduces some scenes and details of the ancestors and the enemy's bloody struggle and hard struggle, and uses the way of "words and deeds" to guide teenagers to overcome difficulties and grow up on their own in a difficult environment. For the current teenagers known as "small fresh meat", the tenacious spirit of the ancestors will undoubtedly have a good motivating effect. This kind of spiritual self-help and self-breakthrough shows a kind of hope for the growth of current adolescents, and then interprets the special role and great significance of "teaching by example" in the growth of adolescents.
