On June 19, 1984, David Stern made his first appearance on the stage of league history. Of the names he pronounced in his first draft, three players won a total of seven MVPs in the next decade, producing eight All-Stars. It can be said that it was the "Golden 1984" group that reversed the direction of the NBA and changed the fate of countless teams.

In 1984, Michael Jordan was already known, every day at the University of North Carolina, there were always general managers from various NBA teams coming in and out, either satisfied or sad, and they couldn't be sure if the genius liked his team! In addition, Sam Perkins, Barkley, and Nigerian Olajuwon have also become coveted objects in the NBA. In the draft session full of luck factors, trapped by the club's not loose funds at the time and relatively closed sources of information, the clubs were still "cautiously moving forward" like gamblers while investigating!
However, in the years that followed, this session was perfect and gave the league a proud answer. Including Michael Jordan, the greatest player in NBA history, and one of the other two greatest players in their respective positions, Olajuwon and Stockton, as well as willis, Thorpe and other star players with super long careers!
Kevin Willis
It is also worth mentioning that the 208th place in this conference is the American track and field superstar Carl Lewis, who was selected by the Chicago Bulls. But he didn't play a single game for the Bulls.
