"Case Story" I am not pretending to be sick, it is really "heartache"

Psychologists say physical pain can also be related to "heart matters." The first time Han Lin felt "heartache" was half a year ago. She pressed her hands to her chest and clearly felt the colic. Her family took her to the hospital, but the doctor told her she was not sick.

She often "hurts" to check but is not sick

Han Lin never believed that she was not sick.

The 32-year-old is a business manager at a company with a lot of money and just gave birth to a lovely daughter a year ago. In June 2018, when she was walking alone in the supermarket, she suddenly felt psychologically uncomfortable, and when she went to the hospital for a check-up, the doctor said that it was okay, and her pain was indeed healed quickly.

But soon she began to feel pain again, and her family quickly sent her to the hospital for examination, or the same result: no disease, for most of the year, her illness had occurred more than a dozen times, and the doctor saw that she was used to it, and each time he prescribed her some simple drugs.

No illness, it should not be possible, right? Han Lin felt that it was just that the doctor didn't check it out. Her family also thinks: How can a disease not be found? If you are really not sick, why do you have to "pretend to be sick"? Everyone thinks that maybe she has a psychological problem.

A few days ago, I couldn't stand myself getting sick from time to time, and I also wanted to know if I was sick, Han Lin came to our counseling center accompanied by her family.

The most heard quote as a child was "Look how ugly you are."

It is hard for the center's counselors to imagine that the fair-skinned Han Lin grew up in her mother's "look at you ugly" voice.

After communicating with her, the counselor believed that Han Lin was not pretending to be ill, but really "distressed", but not due to physical illness, but due to the pressure of work and the early education she received from her family.

The consultant found that Han Lin suddenly felt "heartache" in June 2018, when Han Lin's company was in its worst slump, due to job changes, the pressure on her work soared; and her mother had never praised her since childhood, and her most heard voice was "look at your ugly".

Because her mother is harsh on her, Han Lin always feels that she is not beautiful enough, her work performance is not perfect, and she always magnifies the part she lacks and shrinks her achievements indefinitely.

With her good friend as a listener before, Han Lin was still able to cope with it reluctantly. During that time, her friend was pregnant, afraid of affecting her friend's mood, Han Lin could only hide her heart words in her heart.

Hanlin recalled that when she first fell ill, her job changed, and second, her mother was sick at that time, and she hated her mother for a long time and felt that her mother was not good for her. But when she went to the hospital that day to visit her mother, she saw her haggard face, and she immediately blamed herself, feeling that she should not hate her mother.

Pressure coupled with guilt, and the loss of the object of Han Lin,corpus, negative emotions continue to gather, eventually causing autonomic nervous system disorders, heartache, syncope followed.

Women with "heart disease" can tell us

Han Lin never thought that the physical pain would be related to his "heart". In response to Han Lin's condition, the counselor asked her to write a cognitive diary, which is mainly a three-column narrative style, which records the events that caused psychological fluctuations on the day according to events, thoughts and emotions, and carries out targeted treatment accordingly.

Counselors say that as the pressure to survive in the city increases, white-collar workers with higher incomes will experience inexplicable pain, but the cause cannot be detected, which is likely to be a sign of mental illness. If ordinary office workers have psychological anxiety or physical pain that cannot find out the cause, they may wish to learn to write a cognitive diary, one is to dispel negative emotions in their hearts, and the other is to learn the errors of their psychological cognition and adjust their mood according to the specific situation.

If you have something to worry about, you can tell us that the psychologist will give you a pulse and eliminate the crux of your heart.
