Expensive American warplanes
One fighter jet in the list is incredibly expensive: the American F22 fighter, which costs $350 million per aircraft. This fighter is the world's first fifth-generation aircraft, and its birth is set in the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union.
At that time, the United States positioned this fighter to quickly destroy important enemy targets in the face of the Soviet Union's powerful air defense system, and to achieve this goal, this fighter needed to have extremely strong performance. The seventh is the Japanese F-2 fighter. In fact, French fighters have always had the disadvantage of being more expensive, because the size of the French army is small, and the air force has little demand for fighters. If France wants to make money on warplanes, it has to sell foreign arms. However, the cost had to be added to the price of the arms sale, which led to the fact that French weapons were always expensive.
