According to Taiwan's "Eastern News Cloud" report on 5 October, the Chinese Kuomintang held a regular meeting of the CPC Central Committee at 10 a.m. on 5 October, during which the handover of the old and new chairmen was completed, and Zhu Lilun officially took office. Regarding the selection of vice chairmen, Zhu Lilun said that it would be announced at the party congress at the end of the month.

According to Zhu Lilun's plan, Huang Jianting, the governor of the front desk, is the secretary general of the Central Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, Jiang Junting, a former New Taipei Civil Affairs Bureau, takes over as full-time deputy secretary general and director of the chairman's office; "legislator" Lin Weizhou, former "legislator" Li Yanxiu, former geshi president Luo Zhiqiang, and "legislator" Xie Yifeng take over as deputy secretary general.

In addition, Zhu Lilun also appointed Xu Yuzhen, chairman of the Yunlin County Party Department, to take over as chairman of the Kuomintang Organization and Development Committee, office spokesman Ling Tao to take over as chairman of the Cultural Communication Committee and spokesman of the Chinese Kuomintang, Qiu Dazhan to succeed as chairman of the Administrative Management Committee, and "legislator" Lin Yihua to take over as president of the Institute of Revolutionary Practice.

Huang Jiezheng, associate professor of the Institute of International Affairs and Strategic Studies of Tamkang University in Taiwan, is the special adviser to the party chairman and director of the international affairs department of the Chinese Kuomintang; Lin Zujia, professor of the Department of Economics of National Chengchi University in Taiwan, is the special adviser to the party chairman and director of the mainland affairs department of the Chinese Kuomintang; and Ji Linlian, the "commander of the Marine Corps" and retired second-class general, is the chairman of the party department (Huang Fuxing) of the retired personnel of the Taiwan Army.

A person within the Kuomintang of China said that Ling Tao, the chairman of the Cultural Transmission Association and the party spokesman, wrote down the record of one of the youngest first-class supervisors in the history of the party in the past century. Party insiders pointed out that Ling Tao, who was only 31 years old and was the head of the Chinese Kuomintang Youth League and a member of the Central Standing Committee, obtained a master's degree from Cornell University in the United States, and has experienced the 2012 Taiwan regional leadership election, the 2014 New Taipei mayoral election, and the New Taipei Civil Affairs Bureau.

According to the analysis of party insiders, the appointment of Ling Tao as a first-level supervisor symbolizes that the Chinese Kuomintang led by Zhu Lilun should convey to the outside world the signal of gradually cultivating a new generation to take over the baton, so as to enrich the talent gap of the Chinese Kuomintang, recruit young people's combat strength, and declare to the young generation and Taiwan society with practical actions that "young people have absolutely a chance in the Kuomintang."
