Former NBA player James Posey was interviewed by the media about an interesting story about former NBA player Kevin Garnett.
"Yes, Garnett never rests in training." Posey said in an interview.
"You know, most of the star players sit on the sidelines in training, just like a regular check-in."
"Garnett used to say in training' 'I'm here to win, I'm not here to coach!' Doug Rivers, I'm not here to be a coach. I would never sit on the sidelines and watch you train like that. ’”
"Then Rivers would say, 'If you play, I'll fine you.'" ”
"Then Garnett would cry out helplessly, 'Don't do this, Doug, please.'" ”
Posey has been a teammate with Garnett at the Celtics and won the NBA championship together.
