In 1996, Shi Delong cooperated with Shanghai Agricultural College to screen and cultivate high-quality special rice planting, mainly planting more than 10 varieties of Shangnong black glutinous, green bud embryo rice, red japonica rice, and nutritious brown rice. In recent years, he has cooperated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences to carry out aerospace mutagenesis breeding, of which Ugon rice is a high-quality variety selected under the conditions of high radiation, high speed, low magnetism and weightlessness, and the yield per mu is 10% higher than that of conventional rice. For more than 40 years, he has successively developed additional products such as Ugon rice wine, black rice, black barley cereal and so on, which are deeply loved by the public.

In recent years, cooperatives have scientifically balanced the production and water consumption per mu, reduced the electricity consumption and water consumption of the whole irrigation cycle, saved about 20% of agricultural water in five years, and reduced the amount of irrigation means that methane emissions have also been reduced.
Controlling the use of chemical fertilizers is a major focus of the development of green and low-carbon agriculture, in recent years, Shanyang Town has vigorously promoted the straw return to the field and the "double reduction" of agricultural fertilizer reduction and pesticide reduction. Through the planting of green manure and the application of organic fertilizer in winter, the application of chemical fertilizers has been effectively reduced, and the amount of chemical fertilizer applied in rice planting in the town has dropped from 75.5 kg per mu in 2016 to 53.6 kg per mu.
