Tonight and night, in the middle of the boat.

Today, when the sun is shining, you must be in the same boat as the prince.

Shame is good, not ashamed.

Distraught and distraught, he learned of the prince.

The mountain has wood and branches, and the heart is happy and the king does not know.

"Yue Ren Song"

In the Spring and Autumn Period, the mother and brother of the Chu King, Ejun Zihao, played in the river, and the bells and drums sounded in unison. The boat shaker was a Vietnamese man, and as soon as the music stopped, he took the oars and sang a song in Vietnamese. Ejun Zihao couldn't understand it, so he asked someone to translate it into Chu. It's the ballad above. The song sings the deep and sincere love of the Yue people for Zi Hao, and the lyrics are pun-like and euphemistic. It is the earliest translated poem in China, and it is also the crystallization and witness of the fusion of ancient Chuyue cultures. It has a direct influence on Chu Ci's creation.

The story tells that on the day that Xiangcheng of the Chu Kingdom was knighted, he stood by the river in Chinese clothes. Dr. Zhuang Xin of Chu passed by and saw the joy in his heart, so he went forward to salute and wanted to shake his hand. Xiang Chengjun was indignant at his transgressive behavior and ignored it. So Zhuang Xin washed his hands and told Xiang Chengjun the story of the Chu state of Ejun.

"Yue Ren Song" is a poem by the Chu state expressing love across classes. The boat girl in the poem is a member of thousands of working people, living at the bottom of society. In the environment at that time, as the boat girl herself sang in her own song: "Tonight and night, the boat is in the middle of the stream." Today, when the sun is shining, you must be in the same boat as the prince. "What a wonderful evening tonight," I", roaming the river in a boat. What day is it that "I" can travel with the prince in the same boat.

The boat girl meets the prince on a fortuitous night, and the story takes place very clearly, just tonight, today. But the boat girl also repeatedly stressed, repeatedly questioned "what night and what night" and "today and day xi", in the repeated chanting of the boat girl's emotions vividly expressed. First, I couldn't believe that on such an ordinary night, I could be in the same boat as the prince. Second, I feel very fortunate that among the thousands of ordinary working people, I am so fortunate that an ordinary boat girl can be in the same boat with the prince at night.

The prince thus entered the heart of the boat girl, but in the end, what lies between the boat girl and the prince is the door, the identity, and the status, and these boat women cannot push down the mountain, pressing the boat girl, doomed to the love of the two, there is no ending. In addition, due to the difference in language, even if the boat girl boldly confessed, Gao Sheng sang his heart: "The mountain has wood and the wood has branches, and the heart is pleasing to the king and the king does not know." "If this song has not been translated by the prince, then the intention of the boat girl, the prince will not know for the rest of his life." For the boat girl, "having to be in the same boat with the prince" is a lucky encounter, but also a painful farewell. A Yueren song is a bold confession of Zhounu, and it is also her bitter crush.
