No foreign aid was selected
Since the establishment of the CBA, this is the second time in the history of the All-Star Game that no foreign players have been selected. The first and only time in the past occurred in the first year of CBA history (1996). After that, foreign aid became an integral part of the CBA All-Star Game, and until now again no foreign aid has been selected.
However, starting in 2020, the number of foreign aid participating in the All-Star Game is decreasing. In 2020, only Jeremy Lin (Beijing) and Deng Meng (then playing in Zhejiang) were available.
